Tai Kwun’s Better Together—Partnering Up for Hong Kong Movies explores many iterations of the Hong Kong “team spirit” and “film spirit” through numerous classics from the past decades. With the full support of the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, exhibition designers whose vision rivals those artists behind the camera recreate breathtaking action scenes, putting on display many of the on-screen props that originally fired viewers’ imagination. i. By using this Better Together – Partnering Up for Hong Kong Movies exhibition ticket (the “Exhibition Ticket”), you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, the Privacy Policy Statement available at , and all applicable laws.
ii. Any person (whether the purchaser of the Exhibition Ticket or a third party holding the Exhibition Ticket) who presents the Exhibition Ticket, enters the venue, and enjoys any privileges arising from or related to the Exhibition Ticket must comply with these terms and conditions, and the bye-laws of the Central Police Station Compound.
iii. A valid Exhibition Ticket (in electronic or other form issued by Tai Kwun Arts or its authorised ticketing platform) must be presented for admission. Tai Kwun Culture and Arts Company Limited (“Tai Kwun Arts”) may refuse admission outside the designated date / time. Visitors must comply with the venue and admission requirements.
iv. No counterfeit Exhibition Ticket will be accepted.
v. The Exhibition Ticket may not be sold or exchanged for cash or any other goods, services and / or privileges.
vi. No replacement of the Exhibition Ticket will be issued if defaced, deleted, corrupted or lost.
vii. You agree that Tai Kwun Arts may use any image or video that consists of your portrait taken at the event for any purposes (including promotion and marketing purposes or organisation of any other activities) anywhere worldwide in whatever manner and media as Tai Kwun Arts may deem fit.
viii. Tai Kwun Arts may at any time refuse any person’s admission into the venue without compensation or otherwise.
ix. Tai Kwun Arts may at any time suspend or terminate the use of the Exhibition Ticket without compensation or otherwise.
x. The Exhibition Ticket are non-exchangeable, non-cancellable or non-refundable once purchase, except in cases where changes to the exhibition schedule and / or time are necessary due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons Tai Kwun Arts deems fit.
xi. According to Clause X, Exhibition Tickets exchanged are limited to the same exhibition, ticket type, and ticket price. Returns and exchanges must be made at the specified time and location or through the ticketing platform. For details, please refer to the announcements on the Tai Kwun website and ticketing platform.
xii. Concession tickets are available for full-time students, seniors aged 60 or above, and persons with disabilities. Concession ticket holders must present valid proof of eligibility for admission.
xiii. In the event of any dispute in connection with the Exhibition Ticket, the decision of Tai Kwun Arts shall be final, conclusive, and binding.
xiv. These terms and conditions are written in English and the Chinese translation is for reference only. In the event of any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
Arrangement Under Inclement Weather Conditions
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above
- If hoisted before opening hours: Tai Kwun Duplex Studio will remain closed until the signal is lowered. The venue will re-open three hours after the signal is lowered. If the signal is cancelled or lowered less than four hours before the normal closing time, Tai Kwun Duplex Studio will remain closed for the rest of the day.
- If hoisted during opening hours: Tai Kwun Duplex Studio will close when “Pre-No.8 Special Announcement” is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
- Ticketholders affected during this period may refer to announcements on the Tai Kwun website and ticketing platform for return and exchange arrangements.

From 80s wire work to 90s explosions, every prop whispers: we do this together. Standing before relics from Police Story III, I felt cinematic history. Recreated action & behind-the-scenes footage unveil Hong Kong's special effects magic—revealing how a tiny speck crafted a language Hollywood echoed. The journey from Black Rose to Rob N Roll charts not just film history, but a city's soul—resilient, adaptive, collaborative. Walking with these legends, I rediscovered my "why." This isn't an exhibition; it's a masterclass in heart & hustle. Devoted, sincere, unstoppable—these define filmmakers. If you care about film or overcoming odds, go. Feel the paak zyu soeng for yourself.
Marvelous! Creative movie design works raised in Central of Hong Kong. You can pretend as the characters of Hong Kong movies and have photo-taking.
Fast ticket issuance, took less than 15 minutes. The exhibition hall is worth visiting, you can see a lot of Hong Kong films from the 1980s and 1990s.
Every spot makes you want to take photos and check in. There are some interactive props for fun pictures. Since there's an admission fee, the crowd is manageable, not overly packed like free attractions, and people are considerate of each other when taking photos.
This exhibition is a nostalgic trip for movie fans and is definitely worth the time. The scenes are meticulously detailed, and there are many props you can touch, making it more engaging than just looking. There are also many photo opportunities, and both adults and children will have a great time.
The scene at the Black Rose's house was incredibly realistic, with exquisite props and surprises everywhere, keeping us captivated. The motorcycle next to the helicopter was actually a real vehicle, which was completely unexpected.
The exhibition showcases movie sets and backdrops from different eras of Hong Kong cinema, making it perfect for taking photos. I highly recommend visiting! 👍🏼
Nostalgic Cantonese films, props, and sets offer multiple photo opportunities, such as the inverted heist scene from "Once a Thief," several Black Rose masks available for photos, and even more excitement when you see the motorcycles and long guns!
There were more props to pick up this time compared to last, and you could even ride a motorcycle while holding a gun. We didn't have to queue to get in, even on a holiday, though we did have to wait a bit for photos. It's a pretty good, affordable place to spend some time, look at movie props, and have some fun.
Booking tickets through Klook was convenient, and the set design was very appealing. However, there were fewer exhibits compared to the last exhibition, and the movie was quite short, so we finished quickly. It was fun to interact with some of the props and real objects. At $30, it's still a great value. This time, there were no souvenirs available for purchase.
