Xinjiang belongs to the Northwest region, and its economy differs from that of inland areas, so accommodation, dining, and transportation may vary compared to inland areas.
Xinjiang is two hours behind inland areas, but the entire region operates on Beijing time; however, rest time in Xinjiang is around 12:00 AM, and morning work time is around 10:00 AM.
The ultraviolet rays in tourist attractions are strong in winter. It is recommended to wear a hat or sunscreen and flat shoes or hiking boots.
Mobile phones are prone to shutting down due to cold. Please bring a phone protective case or keep it in an inner pocket of a down jacket.
