Serenity Grandeur Day Cruise: Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended! We had an amazing experience with Serenity Grand Cruise in Lan Ha Bay! A special shoutout to our tour guide, Tuna, who was always attentive, friendly, and informative throughout the entire trip. We truly appreciated how well he looked after everyone and made the tour even more enjoyable. The cruise itself was top-notch. Lan Ha Bay was absolutely stunning, and we loved that there were fewer tourists and a more peaceful atmosphere. The two swimming pools were a bonus, and the buffet was incredibly delicious, with so much variety to choose from. We also enjoyed the sunset party with canapés, which was such a lovely touch. There was so much included in the tour: bike riding or a fish spa in the village, kayaking, swimming, and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful views. Everything was well organised and genuinely worth the travel and money. Overall, we had an amazing experience. If you’re visiting Lan Ha Bay, we highly recommend Serenity Grand Cruise!

this cruise was the highlight of my trip to Northern Vietnam! The boat is very new and beautiful. Tuna was my guide and he mentioned it only started operating in July 2025 - so less than a year. the food was delicious, and the views of Lan Ha Bay was simply breathtaking. The cruise also included a brief stop at. Viet Hai Village which was quaint and peaceful. We stayed an hour there and was able to ride the bicycle around the town. We also had free time to kayak and swim in the bay. There were water slides, a jacuzzi and a swimming pool too. Overall I was very satisfied with the cruise and would highly recommend!

Our guide, Ha, was very informative and friendly. We did all modes of transportation for this day tour. We rode a bus from Hanoi to Haiphong, and since it was low tide then, we got the chance to take the cable car going to Cat Ba Island. From Cat Ba Island, we rode another bus to the harbor. Then we rode a small boat from the harbor to take us to the cruise. The cruise was stunning and looks very brand new. Crew were very friendly. Cruising along Lan Ha Bay was breathtaking. Although the lunch was not buffet since we were only 35 pax, it was plated but still very good. After lunch, we rode the small boat again to take us to Viet Hai Village where we rode an electric car to take us to the village. We really enjoyed riding the bicycle within the village. It was so peaceful in the village. After that, we rode the small boat back to the cruise so start swimming/kayaking. Then we had afternoon tea with fruits and pastries. Great weather w/ sun but cool wind. Highly recommend doing this

Our guide haha have all information on every places we visited from the time, the drop-off points & more informative knowledge about the place we visited. The trip was very jampacked visiting all the itinerary on-time. thanks to our guide for taking good care of the group.

This was one of the best days of our trip, and I highly recommend it. Our guide, Binh, was very attentive. We didn't encounter another boat on the route, leading to a very tranquil experience. The boat itself was well-maintained, offering excellent amenities, including a fun slide and a delicious buffet. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, cycling through the nearby village, and taking in the stunning views of the national park.

Great day tour, lots of activities but not too long. Beautiful boat. We are gluten free and had safe food options at the buffet. Our tour guide Billy was amazing and definitely went the extra mile, taking amazing photos of all the guests for us, as well as providing rain coats when we arrived back to a storm in Hanoi! I wish him all the best.

this was the best day we had in our 2 week trip. incredible from start to finish. we were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day. the bus was great, the comms were great, we got to do a cable ride too. the boat was immaculate, so fancy and the views were incredible. we loved the kayaking and swimming. just such a fantastic experience. do it!

This was much better than halong bay cruises bepz there were practically no other cruises nearby ,giving us the views of the bay unobstructed , serenity grandeur cruise by cat ba did a fantastic job. The cruise was luxurious and in great condition , we had the best unobstructed views of the bay and they also arranged kayaking at a spot where it was just ppl from our cruise in the bay with complete freedom. Spl mention to billy our guide who did a fantatstic job and helped click great pictures of us and kept us entertained throughout . One thing to keep in mind if ur taveling from hanoi it takes about 30- 45 mins extra time to travel here than ha long (u can arrage a stay at cat ba island for 1 day to reduce travel time) , but its absolutely worth it if u want a serene peaceful experience of the bay with literally no other cruises near u . Would advise anyone to pick this trip blindfolded over any other trip from anyother company

Wow, what an amazing day. I am so glad we booked this tour on the amazing Serenity. The tour starts from the well organised pick up. Our incredibly knowledgeable guide Bihn (Billy) kept us engaged from the moment we stepped on the bus, it didn’t even feel like a 3 hour ride. Billy shared the history of Vietnam on the way there and the knowledge was more specific to Cat Ba and the Village as we got closer. I was in awe at the Serenity Cruise, the facilities were clean and luxurious. the staff were incredibly friendly and we were served the freshest seafood and buffet lunch. I am happy that we chose the Serenity Granduer Cruise instead of going to Ha Long Bay, if you want something a little less touristy, this is the cruise for you. We enjoyed riding bikes around the village and then kayaking and swimming. Billy kept everything running so smoothly, there is just enough amount of time allocated for travel, eating, play and relaxing without it feeling rushed. Wish I could come back again!
