I had a wonderful experience with Stella as my tour guide! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Korea's royal palaces and brought each place to life with her fascinating stories and insights. As a first-time visitor to Korea, this tour made me appreciate the country's rich culture and history even more, and it definitely inspired me to come back again soon. Next time, I'll even make sure to try wearing a hanbok! I highly recommend booking a tour with Stella. She speaks English, Japanese, Spanish, and Korean fluently, making the experience enjoyable and accessible for visitors from all over the world. Thank you, Stella, for making my first trip to Korea so memorable!
Angela made our visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village absolutely unforgettable! Her knowledge of Korean history, culture, and hidden details brought every corner of the tour to life. She explained everything in such a fun and engaging way that we were hooked the entire time. Not only is Angela an amazing storyteller and guide, but she’s also incredible at taking family photos. We ended up with some of our favorite pictures from the trip thanks to her! She knew all the best photo spots and made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Seoul, we 100% recommend exploring Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village with a guide, especially Angela. She truly made the experience special, memorable, and so much more meaningful. Thank you, Angela!
Angela, my tour guide for the Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon Hanok Village and Seoul foodie is a wonderful lady, helpful and friendly. Her knowledge for these places are well. Kim, my tour guide for Naksan and Euungbongsan night view are friendly and helpful too.
Gyeongbokgung Palace is beautiful, but the weather was so hot. I really admire those wearing hanbok. Bukchon Hanok Village has a lot of historical charm, but there's a five-minute uphill walk, so you need to be prepared for that. Gwangjang Market has many snacks, but my favorite was the freshly blended strawberry juice. The night views from Naksan Park and Eungbongsan Mountain are absolutely stunning! However, there's a ten-minute and a fifteen-minute uphill walk, respectively. I consider myself to be in decent shape with healthy knees, but I still had to rest three times on the last stretch to make it to the top. I'm so glad I came while I'm still young! I probably wouldn't be able to do it ten years from now. But the night view is incredibly beautiful; I personally think it's just as good as Hakodate's night view.
An amazing experience walking the grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the surround Bukchon Hanok village. It is a lot of walking so be prepared with good shoes. The weather was nice and cool so it wasn't too bad. We got to see the King's and Queen's quarters and also the changing of the guard parade. Best of all was our guide, Stella, who was informative, kind and sweet throughout. She helped us get tickets, explained different aspects of the palace to us, and even shops to get good skincare products at! It was topped off with her bright demeanour and cute Christmas present. Keep up the amazing work Stella and thank you for an amazing tour!
We had such a wonderful experience with Bill Hwang as our tour guide, and we genuinely can’t recommend him enough! From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. He welcomed everyone with great energy and made my whole family feel comfortable right away. Bill’s knowledge was impressive, his explanations were clear and engaging, and he always made sure the group understood what we were seeing and why it mattered. He gave helpful tips, suggested the best spots for photos, and made sure everyone had time to enjoy the experience. And a special shoutout for his photography skills, Bill took amazing photos of us! He knew the best angles and spots, and he was patient and happy to help us capture beautiful memories. Thanks to Bill, this tour became one of the highlights of our trip. We left feeling like we learned a lot, enjoyed every moment, and were genuinely cared for as guests. Highly, highly recommended!
Stella was an incredible guide, she explained everything very well. She offered to meet an hour earlier to also wear a Hanbok. During the tour, she showed us the most important places to take good photos, and even took them for us with very good quality. She answered our questions and suggested many places for our shopping and to eat delicious things. Highly recommended experience :)
The Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village are must see places. Angela is an exceptional guide. She guided us through palace and Bukchon Hanok Village with deep knowledge and insight, bringing the history and culture of both spots to life. She was incredibly polite, welcoming, and warm. What stood out most was how wonderful she was with our child—he felt comfortable with her right away, which made the whole experience so much smoother and more enjoyable for our family. Between sightseeing, we loved exchanging travel stories with her, and she went above and beyond by taking us to a charming coffee place in the Hanok village and helping us find a fantastic local restaurant for lunch. If you are looking to explore Seoul with someone who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and fantastic with families, I cannot recommend Angela highly enough!
Stella, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the unforgettable day at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. You went above and beyond — helping us choose our hanboks, capturing countless beautiful photos, and guiding us with such genuine warmth. You didn’t just show us around; you made the experience feel truly special and personal. We are so grateful for your kindness and the memories you helped create. Thank you so much, Stella.
Special Tq for Miss Stella who is very friendly, lovely and well versed in English. she explained briefly but clearly about the historical part of the trip. the trip to historical place was so special and nostalgic when think how would the josean era was like and when lovely Miss Stella told how the palaces are demolished during war period was very devastating cause all the historical palaces were destroyed. hanbok village houses building were beautiful. had a memorable trip with wonderful Miss Stella
