Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Day Tour (Optional Cable Car/ropeway/Toboggan Package)

Flower is a very patient and good tour guide n give very detail explanation of both East n West Side of Mutianyu. Spend abt 1hr 15min on East Side fr Tower 6 to 4 and back to Tower 6 (including chairlift up, queue were less at ard 9.30am weekday n toboggan down), 2hr 30min on the West Side up n down fr Tower 14 to 20 back to Tower 14 (each way abt 53min including alot of photos taking), cable car oni 3-4min max. And back to restaurant for 30min lunch just in time b4 depart at 2pm+.

Great tour! managed to fit in both the chairlift and cable car and the sled run down. hot walking at the top so don’t underestimate the amount of water you’ll need. Useful guide summary on the way there and comfortable buses both ways. lunch is basic, and convenient so works well. Thanks Michael for taking care of us!

amazing tour, efficient and and well planned and the views of the Great Wall are spectacular it really helps being early to get those views without too many people. my tour guide was Micheal and he was friendly and helpful would definitely recommend.

me and my husband had a great time. the wall was beautiful. flower was our guide. she was very helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure we got all the correct information. even called our hotel to check in with us. it’s a self guided tour once you arrive. so you can go around as you please. the pickup is so convenient. we opted for the lunch option, but i wouldn’t recommend because it’s set food(we don’t like orange sauce flavor chicken) you don’t get options. instead order lunch at the restaurant on your own. would recommend both the cable car and toboggan! everything was so fun! we arrived very early so we beat the crowds. Our tour guide, Mr Frank, contacted us a day in advance to confirm the pickup time and meeting point. On the way to Mutianyu Great Wall, he shared interesting historical information about the Great Wall and clearly explained the arrangements for lunch, as well as where to return to meet the bus after descending from the Great Wall. We experienced quite long queues – almost 1 hour 45 minutes for the chairlift ride up and another 1.5 hours for the Toboggan ride down. Unfortunately, we ended up missing our scheduled buffet lunch. However, Frank had thoughtfully made prior arrangements with the restaurant, allowing us to grab a quick bite after coming down from the Great Wall before heading back to the city. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable day tour. Despite the long queues, the Toboggan ride was definitely the highlight and well worth the wait! Highly recommended!

Great experience today on our trip to the Great Wall! Michael was a good guide and the cooler weather combined with clear skies were amazing! definitely do the cableway up and tabogan down if you can handle the walking and climbing.

We had an amazing experience visiting the Great Wall of China with our guide, Richard. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire tour enjoyable. Car was comfortable and clean. He recommended we leave heaps earlier to get to Great Wall to escape the crowds and it was the best idea. He shared fascinating history, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

His explanations in both Chinese and English were fluent and easy to understand, and all the information he provided was clear. He gave great instructions on using the cable car and the sled, making the Great Wall experience for my family and me incredibly enjoyable. I had a very nice day today at the Great Wall! Angela gave me a lot of tips to avoid long queues, so I was able to visit the East and West side in one day, plus getting lunch afterwards! I feel like it is a very recommendable trip for everyone who wants to go to the Great Wall for one day, especially as a solo traveller! :)

lovely and seamless experience!! would recommend for groups of friends or familiy. Really appreciated Maggie who helped us greatly to find alternatives to miss the peak crowds or try local produce like peach or chestnuts! we were meant to take the toppangan but to miss some crowd we took the cable car instead which was still fun! really recommend this tour
