Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Day Tour (Optional Cable Car/ropeway/Toboggan Package)

Since it was Summer in China, and a very hot and humid, this tour is a must have. Lessening you the burden of tranferring and reserving lunch and tickets. Michael, our guide is very helpful. I will try this again in the Winter.

We had an amazing experience visiting the Great Wall of China with our guide, Richard. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire tour enjoyable. Car was comfortable and clean. He recommended we leave heaps earlier to get to Great Wall to escape the crowds and it was the best idea. He shared fascinating history, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

The Great Wall is amazing. We enjoyed our time traversing the various towers of the Mutianyu Great Wall. We booked our trip with Klook, and our tour guide Michael made the experience easy for us. I highly recommend this activity if the Great Wall is part of your itinerary.

Guide: Sir Michael Feng will inform of your tour details the day before via WeChat or WhatsApp. He is easy to talk to and responds quickly and clearly. Itenerary: The itenerary is pretty straightforward - the bus picks us up via meeting point or near your hotel and we go straight to Great Wall. After around 4 hrs, we go back to the city. Quality of transfer: Opting for pick up made it very convenient for us since the departure time is very early. The mode of transfers offered in this tour (bus, shuttle bus, cable car, etc.) made our tour much more comfortable. Value for money: Overall we felt this exp is worth the value for momey considering the tour guide handles everything for you. My only comment for improvement is that I think the lunch buffet could be better since most of the food I ate are cold already.

An unforgettable family experience! Our guide Michael was fantastic: professional, friendly and very caring with us and our children. He shared fascinating explanations about the history of the Great Wall and great tips to avoid the queues. The cable car offers a stunning view over the Wall and the mountains. The scenery is breathtaking, and Mutianyu is much calmer and less crowded than other sections. The lunch was good too. Comfortable and punctual transport, perfect organization from start to finish. We chose a package with pickup. Since there were five of us, the guide booked a Didi taxi. After meeting the guide, we headed to the Great Wall. The guide was good, but their voice was a bit soft on the bus. I recommend choosing a package that includes cable car or cableway/toboggan tickets directly. There are two return sessions: 1:40 PM and 2:40 PM. My advice is to choose the cableway/toboggan option if you come here, as it's more exciting and the Great Wall area isn't as crowded. The cable car area can be quite busy. For your return, you'll need to walk down to the bus parking area.

Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall Day Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Beijing. The entire tour was well-organized from start to finish, with punctual transportation and a knowledgeable guide who shared interesting historical facts about the Great Wall without making the experience feel rushed.

Our guide Mr.Leo and our driver Ms. Nadia are very nice. They show us the quality tour and comfortable. Mr. Leo who has a lot of knowledge about Chinese history and conecting it in world history also. They drop us at local market to buy the fresh fruits and resonable price. We would say we have very incredible day with them.

Our guide was Dona, who contacted us a day before to inform about change in pick up point. She was quite detailed in her explanation of where to climb at MuTianYu Great Wall section and helped us buy tickets for the cable car and chairlift+toboggan. with her advice, we were able to experience both instead of just only one, as we could only choose either the cable car or the chairlift+toboggan option at checkout. we could also avoid the queues based on her advice which saved us a lot of waiting time.
