Hanoi Half-Day Jeep Tour to Bat Trang Pottery Village & Workshop

Very nice experience of pottery village. Special mention to our guide Duy, who seemed knowledgeable nd was very interactive. Our kid had a great fun with him. First time tried to make pottery. It seemed easy and simple when staff was showing the process but its really hard and complex when doing it ourselves. Its an art and a complex one. The lunch at Bun Cha was splendid. Overall, it was an awesome experience.

We had a wonderful time at Bat Trang Pottery Village! Our guide, Justin, was incredibly knowledgeable and a true history enthusiast. He shared fascinating stories about Vietnam’s ceramic heritage, making the experience both fun and educational. My kids especially enjoyed trying their hand at pottery making. It looks easy, but it’s definitely harder than it seems! The hands-on session was a highlight of the trip and gave us a real appreciation for the skill involved. Thank you, Justin, for making the visit so engaging and memorable. We left with not only our pottery creations, but also a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rich ceramic history. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience at the Bat Trang Pottery Village. The schedule was not too hectic, evenly paced, and our tour guide Hieu gave great insight on the history and significance of pottery in Vietnam. When we went it was mostly filled with locals, so a great choice if you wish to head somewhere with rich history and not overly packed with tourists. My partner and I just so happened to be the only ones joining at our time slot, so it was basically a private tour which was an added bonus, even when fully filled, it would just be 4-5 people max, so a great choice if you’re done with the crowded spots.

Bread is a great tour guide! Friendly, enthusiastic, and super young! His explanations are very detailed, and the half-day tour is very fulfilling and fun. I recommend everyone take the jeep tour of Hanoi! 🫶🏻🇻🇳

It is a great experience visiting the culture and vibe of Hanoi. I recommend miss Bread as tour guide and driver Tony because they are attentive and knowledgeable into all the places we went thru.

Sunny (guide) and Tony (driver) were really excellent. They were fun and knowledgeable. Tony really knew the side streets so we could see different parts of Hanoi and Sunny’s understanding of history and daily events was spot on.

Please note the Pottery Museum is not included! Other than that, the tour was fantastic. Hieu was our guide, and he was fun and informative. The car was an incredible relic and overall a great experience. Given that the pottery museum is a main attraction of the town and featured as on the main page of this tour listing, I thought we would at least stop in, but I also didn’t specifically request it.

Bread is very helpful in touring us, great introduction to the places we visited. and she’s very helpful to take photos for us. a must have tour guide if you go to Vietnam.
