What to expect
The Minakami Area is well known as a relaxing vacation destination away from the frenetic pace of Tokyo. Known for its hot springs and resorts, Minakami is frequently visited by both local and foreign tourists as a respite from daily city life and to try out some of the many activities that can be done there. This round trip bus pass gets you to the area and allows you to use two bus service routes: The Jomo-Kogen – Minakami – Tanigawadake Ropeway/Yunkoya route, and the Numata – Jomo-Kogen – Sarugakyo routes. Valid for three consecutive days, that gives you plenty of time to travel to Minakami and visit Minamaki Onsen, the ropeway, and numerous other destinations without worrying about transportation.

You can exchange the ticket at Jomo-Kogen JR station. We had a day trip to Takaragawa onsen using this pass. The view is stunning along the way to the hotel. The bus is about 5 minute delay.
Hope there’s a 1 day ticket since we just go in Minakami for onsen. But overall, it is good.
I bought a water area bus pass at klook before departure, and I can get a pass when I show the QR CODE to Japan.
Used this for our trip to Takaragawa onsen. Easy to use.
Count the number of uses first, it will be cost-effective if used multiple times.
A very valuable package, basically unimpeded in the water area, can also be used to go to the Master Hot Springs. There are too many scenic spots in the water area. The picking garden is also a major event, and it is worth buying a transportation ticket.
bus is waiting before time and just go outside jomo kogen station you will find bus at bus stop1 easy to find
Spend a wonderful day in Takaragawa Onsen. Buying the Minakami Area Pass was a good choice!
