Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed this day trip filled with serene shrines, peafeful temples, natural beauty, and some touristy shopping and food at the end of the tour. Our guide Hide, was friendly and knowledgeable and he got us everywhere safely and on time. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see these major sites and attractions without having to worry about the transportation.
We were extremely satisfied with the full-day itinerary, and I must give Master Li Jun a five-star rating! He was very professional and friendly, providing simple explanations of the attractions throughout the trip. He also clearly arranged the pick-up and drop-off points, which made us feel very at ease. What surprised me most was his flexibility in planning. When we spontaneously decided we wanted to experience the Arashiyama Scenic Railway, he immediately helped us arrange it, completely adjusting the itinerary to our needs, which was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, this was a small group tour, making communication very convenient. The pace of the trip was relaxed yet fulfilling, and the overall experience for the entire day was excellent. In summary, Master Li Jun is meticulous and reliable, and his service is very attentive. I truly recommend him to everyone! 👍
I had an amazing Kyoto day trip visiting Arashiyama, Sanzen Garden, and Kifune Shrine. In Arashiyama, I rode a rickshaw and took beautiful photos in the bamboo forest. Sanzen Garden was a favorite for its quiet, calming atmosphere, and at Kifune Shrine I enjoyed trying the paper water fortune. Our guide and driver, Nick Lee, spoke excellent English and shared great background stories about each place, which made the experience even more meaningful. Highly recommended!
We spent a few days in Osaka and also wanted to see the cherry blossoms in Kyoto. We found a convenient one-day tour that included many beautiful spots. We visited Sanzen-in Temple, and the cherry blossoms were absolutely stunning! The itinerary was very well-planned, including Kifune Shrine, the Bamboo Grove, and Arashiyama, with enough time to even ride the Sagano Scenic Railway! A big thank you to our tour leader and driver, Mr. Li Jun, who was very polite and thoughtful in his arrangements. We were all very satisfied and happy!
We are very grateful to our professional and friendly tour guide, Nick Lee. This is the second time participating in Nick Lee's tour. Not only is his driving skill excellent, but he also took the time to introduce the origins and stories of the scenic spots on our itinerary. My friends and I all thought it was great! However, due to the holiday, the crowds in Arashiyama were truly terrifying. Thank you also to Nick Lee for the reminders and arrangements, which made our itinerary very smooth! We also saw the beautiful scenery of Sanzen-in Temple and Kifune Shrine!
We booked the tour just 1 day prior and it was amazing. only 5 of us in total and it was a big van. the locations are very good and not that many tourists so you can take good picture. Our tour guide NickLee is very professional and amazing, he contact and practicely message us the time and details so you don’t get late, though even if were late he is fine with it. in total, it was a very amazing and not hassle trip. thank you NickLess
For my trip to Japan, I booked short-term tours for attractions that were a bit further away. I'm so glad I signed up for this tour group, especially since it happened to be a rainy day and I had luggage, making this type of travel incredibly convenient. From the initial meeting point, the reception staff were very responsible, confirming our itinerary and guiding us to the correct vehicle. The tour I booked included Sanzen-in Temple, Kifune Shrine, and Arashiyama, all of which are more distant destinations. Our tour guide, Yasuo, sent us relevant information to review beforehand. Because of the rain, they made sure to choose pick-up and drop-off locations that were easy for us to get on and off the bus! They also sent messages reminding us of the meeting times and locations. The itinerary was very rich, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, the time spent at each stop was not very long. If I travel to Japan again, I would consider booking another short-term tour with this company!
This one-day tour is very relaxing, the itinerary flows smoothly, and the tour guide is very friendly. Every scenic spot is beautiful and perfect for photos.
Overall a great trip mostly because the guide was able to speak both mandarin and english. Our group was rather small so we got a van instead. Time spent for all destinations were decent but I would have preferred an earlier pick up so that the day could have started earlier. This was because by the time we reached Arayashima (last stop) it was rather crowded and navigating through thr crowds made it even harder to keep to the time.
Our tour guide Nick was super kind and thoughtful ✨ We didn't see the sign he was holding in the morning, but he waited patiently for us 🥹 He also shared fun little stories about Kyoto on the bus, which made the trip even more interesting! We had so much fun eating yudofu (tofu hot pot) in Arashiyama that we were a little rushed to catch the 3:02 PM Sagano Scenic Railway train 🤣 We originally thought we only had 10 minutes left, but it was a 14-minute walk to our destination. We almost gave up, but then we figured we'd bought the tickets already so we decided to go for it! We went from being totally relaxed and having plenty of time to rushing around like crazy, but we still made it on time 🙈 Overall, though, the pace was smooth and the atmosphere was very relaxed 💕 Thank you, Nick, for making our day so enjoyable 🌿
