What to expect
The Grass Skyline in Zhanjiakou is one of the most well known stretches of road in all of China, a scenic wonder with 133km of beautiful patchwork grassland. This virgin prairie drew hundreds of thousands of visitors all over China and around the world as the beauty of its landscape went viral online. It's a wonderful experience to drive down this stretch of road and admire the grasslands, see the Mongolian yurts, watch the grazing cattle, and even stop over for some cultural experiences along the way.
