During this trip, my family lost important documents. Fortunately, we met a very attentive tour guide who assisted us in contacting the restaurant and helped us retrieve our documents, which made us put down the big stone in our hearts. Other than this incident, the entire trip was wonderful. We visited many beautiful places and the itinerary was very rich. The tour guide gave detailed explanations of the routes and history and culture of each place, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of these places. In particular, the snow scenery of Huanglong left a deep impression on us. It is definitely a scenic spot that must be visited once in a lifetime. Additionally, our accommodation was very clean and comfortable, allowing our family to sleep well every night. In short, I highly recommend this trip. Whether it is the scenery, itinerary or the tour guide's service, we have left wonderful memories. 😊
Jiuzhaigou was magical despite rain and peak season. My mother and I aren’t fluent in Mandarin but still enjoyed the tour. Extra ¥315/pax covers Huanglong cable car, Jiuzhaigou & Dujiangyan shuttles, and audio devices. We travelled with 18 friendly Chinese tourists, creating a lively atmosphere. Driver Mr. Yang handled the mountain roads with skill; guide Yang Ke was knowledgeable and clear in his instructions. Howard Johnson Hotel was old, poorly maintained, and would not recommend any food from this hotel, while Dujiangyan’s 明智上春假日酒店 was clean, modern, and served the best breakfast. The 7-hour ride from Jiuzhaigou to Dujiangyan and walking downwards for 4 km at Huanglong, and about 6 km at Jiuzhaigou made the trip quite physically demanding especially with the crowd! In our case, Sanxingdui was replaced by Jinsha Site due to peak season. Do note that there is no hotel drop-off; we walked about 900m with luggages while other tourists were sent off to hotel.
The tour guide explained everything in detail and helped us with any problems we had. The kids were thrilled to see the pandas, the meals were delicious, and the trip photos turned out beautifully.
Good tour overall, tour guide was professional, got to see many of the sights we wanted. Food and hotel provided were decent. A lot of walking due to the scenic area but that is to be expected, the tour did their best to optimise the routes for us. Jiuzhaigou was especially beautiful.

The itinerary was quite demanding, with long travel times that often cut into meal times and required early morning departures. The accommodations in Jiuzhaigou were disappointing, feeling outdated and reminiscent of a bygone era. However, given the almost all-inclusive nature of the package, these shortcomings were somewhat understandable. Ultimately, the trip's value lay in the opportunity to visit the desired attractions without the stress of arranging individual transportation.
Our guide Jing Shan was extremely knowledgeable on many aspects of the attractions, including the historical, religious, cultural background. And he was very attentive to all our needs and requests. We really enjoyed the trip very much.
Good to know
- Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou are located in a plateau region. If you experience any discomfort, please contact your tour guide or the driver promptly.
- Staff will collect ID information when creating the group chat, please reply in a timely manner!!!
- Due to a daily limit of 5,000 visitors in the scenic area, the Huanglong sightseeing bus fee is not included. If you need to book the sightseeing bus, please inform customer service at least 15 days in advance to check availability.
- Regarding accommodation: Twin rooms are arranged by default, with 2 adults per room. Room sharing is not available for this trip. If you are traveling with an odd number of adults, please be sure to purchase 1 “single room supplement”. Solo travelers will be provided with a separate room. For 3 adults traveling together, purchase 1 additional “single room supplement”, which will secure two rooms for you. If you have a request for a king-size bed, please make a note when placing your order.
- Dagu Glacier is located in a high-altitude area with a changeable climate and a large temperature difference between day and night. Therefore, it is recommended to bring suitable clothing according to the season, such as cold-weather gear, cold-weather hats, and non-slip shoes.
- Due to the high altitude of Dagu Glacier, some visitors may experience symptoms of altitude sickness. Therefore, it is recommended to carry some altitude sickness relief medication, such as Rhodiola.
- The local Tibetan and Qiang ethnic groups have unique ethnic cultures and customs. During the trip, please respect local customs and religious beliefs.
- If you feel physically unwell during the tour, please inform the travel agency promptly.
- The insurance list must be provided to the travel agency one day in advance. Failure to provide it proactively will be considered an automatic waiver of insurance, and all consequences arising therefrom will have nothing to do with the travel agency.
- Due to the plateau terrain along the route, traffic control is implemented on some road sections, which is prone to traffic jams. It is recommended to book your return transportation for the following day to avoid unnecessary losses.
- The times indicated in this itinerary are for reference only, and the actual arrangements by the travel agency shall prevail.
- After returning to Chengdu, the tour will uniformly disband near Jinke North Road Metro Station.
- Most local hotels use solar water heaters and supply hot water for a limited time; please bring your own toiletries and towels.
- Without reducing the number of attractions, the driver may adjust the order of sightseeing and accommodation locations based on actual conditions. Complimentary items (if not participated in for any reason, fees will not be refunded nor exchanged for items of equal value). If you are unable to go due to voluntary abandonment, policy control, or force majeure factors, no fees will be refunded.
- If a tourist leaves the tour group without authorization halfway through, it will be regarded as a unilateral breach of contract by the tourist, and any ungenerated expenses will not be refunded (including accommodation, transportation, meals, and driver services).
- In the event of irresistible human factors such as earthquakes, mudslides, or landslides, the driver will negotiate with the tourists. With the consent and signature of the tourists, the driver may adjust the itinerary, the order of attraction visits, and accommodation locations based on actual conditions.
- This route is a Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong-Western Sichuan combined product. Due to the special nature of the route, depending on the number of people in the team on the day, vehicle and tour leader changes may be arranged midway, please be aware (signing up is deemed as consent).
