What to expect
Kobo Smith is a handmade silver ring specialty store with the concept of "a day to leave lasting memories." It can accommodate up to 6 people at a time, making it ideal for gifts, creating personalized rings, or as a travel souvenir.
Guests can choose to engrave their names or Hokkaido landmark symbols on the rings, up to 10 characters, and a tarnish-resistant coating is also available.

very personalized and fun experience to make a ring. staff (kojima) was absolutely a dear and walked through every details with us despite the language difference. highly recommended if you want something fantastic to do besides the usual sightseeing, shopping, eating, etc, while in Sapporo.
It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone even if they aren't good at craftsmanship work (me). I had the pleasure to learn from Asato-san. She made the experience really fun and was supportive throughout the entire process. She was kind enough to take amazing photos of myself while I was locked in on making the rings. Her customer service alone makes me want to take the workshop whenever I'm in Sapporo again.
The shop assistant was friendly and welcoming, and we were able to communicate smoothly using Google Translate. We successfully completed a beautiful ring, a wonderful experience.
