Far from staged performances, this experience places you right at the ring's edge during intense morning practice. Feel the floor vibrate and hear the thunderous clash of bodies as these dedicated athletes demonstrate the raw power and sacred discipline usually only seen from distant tournament seats.

Absolutely unique experience. Our guide Aki-San was very knowledgeable and kind. The Sumotori were very impressive. I will look out for them in the next tournaments.
Lovely tour, we were lucky to see the sumo wrestlers as they were training for a tournament, unforgettable experience and lovely atmosphere in general :)
Very authentic experience in a real sumo stable. You enter the stable where the sumo master and the wrestlers live and train, and you’re able to see a real morning training. At the end of the training the master took time to answer our questions. Our guide Yoshimi was also very pleasant and explained us the basics of sumo.
Wow what a powerful experience this was. Kaz our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared many facts about the “Sumo” life we were impressed. Even more impressive were the young men who have dedicated their lives to this sport and tradition which dates back to the Edo and Nara period.Highly recommended activity!
We planned this our first day in Tokyo. It only has an early hour option and we got lost in the train station. The tour guide was kind enough to let us join the group at the event. You basically see them practice, don’t have much explaining, at the end they let you ask questions and take a picture with them. Good all around the experience if your are into sumo.
Excellent english by the guide. We also met the last yokozuna #74 also higher rank sumitori were on the place. Excellent tour!
Was fun. Yasu was great. We were able to get several photos taken of the wrestlers. Would do it again anytime.
An experience to be had. A great guide with all the explanations. A unique experience to be had in their daily practice. A must-see.
