What to bring

• Cash / Towel / Water bottle
• Please prepare warm clothing (such as coats, hats, gloves, and scarves), and you can also bring hand warmers or a thermos to keep warm. ※Please note that most shops in Japan do not provide hot water, so it is recommended to bring your own hot drinks or prepare them at your accommodation.
• Meeting Time: The meeting time varies depending on the departure date, so please be sure to arrive punctually at the time stated on your voucher. We recommend that you arrive early to allow time for check-in, especially when there are a large number of people.
• Our group has already arranged group admission slots for the Yamagata Zao Ropeway. To avoid duplicate purchases, please do not buy individual priority tickets online in advance.
• Staff will arrange according to the language needs of travelers on the day (Chinese/English/Korean/Japanese), but you cannot specify a language. We apologize for any inconvenience.
• All pre-departure notices and important messages will be sent via Email. Please check regularly to avoid missing any information.
• The itinerary fee includes round-trip transportation and the service of accompanying staff, but does not include admission tickets to attractions (cable cars, shuttle buses, etc.) and meals. Please pay the relevant fees directly to the staff on site.
• The cable car fee will be collected on the day. If the Zao Ropeway is suspended due to bad weather, the cable car ticket fee will be refunded; the itinerary will still proceed as scheduled, and no tour fee will be refunded for this reason.
• Please note that snowfall in the Southern Tohoku region varies slightly each year, and significant snow accumulation usually occurs around late December. The best viewing period for Zao's "Snow Monsters" (Juhyo) is from mid-January to early March each year. If you choose to join a tour before the snow season, you may still have the opportunity to enjoy the autumn foliage, but we cannot guarantee visible snow or snow monsters. We appreciate your understanding.
• The best time to view autumn leaves and the extent of their color change may vary each year due to natural factors such as climate and temperature. This tour does not guarantee autumn leaves, and we cannot assure that autumn leaves will be visible or reach the expected level of color on the day of departure. The actual condition of the autumn leaves will be based on the on-site situation on the day. We kindly ask travelers for their understanding and awareness.
• This tour group will take the Zao Ropeway (蔵王ロープウェイ), where you can see the "Zao Juhyo" (frost-covered trees) in winter, not the Chuo Ropeway. The Chuo Ropeway cannot observe the Juhyo. (Please note that it may not be possible to clearly observe the Juhyo due to weather conditions such as blizzards or early warming.)
• During the snow season, traffic times are more difficult to predict. Return delays may occur due to factors such as snow accumulation, road conditions, and crowded facilities. Therefore, it is not recommended for travelers to arrange inter-county travel on the same day their itinerary ends. Our company will not be held responsible for any inability to board flights or Shinkansen on the same day due to return delays.
• Vehicle space is limited. If you need to carry large luggage, please be sure to contact the supplier in advance to confirm if there is sufficient space. Please note that if not confirmed in advance, the supplier may not be able to accommodate your large luggage due to insufficient vehicle space.
• When participating in the tour, please pay attention to the assembly time announced by the staff (the assembly time may differ from the itinerary due to on-site conditions). If you are more than 10 minutes late, to ensure the smooth progress of the overall tour, the accompanying staff has the right to no longer wait and will lead other group members to the next activity. If you fail to keep up with the group due to personal lateness, no partial or full refund of the tour fee will be given. Please be aware.

• How to get there: For transportation, it is recommended to exit from the "East Exit" of JR Sendai Station, turn left and walk straight for about 2 minutes. Alternatively, exit from the "West Exit", turn left, follow the signs to the "East-West Free Passage", and walk straight for about 5 minutes. The meeting point is in front of the Anpanman statue.

Cancellation policy

• You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 7 day(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
• In case of unforeseen events or extreme weather, the operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If this happens, you have the option to request a full refund
• Refunds or amendments can't be issued if: Participants arrive late or don't arrive at all
• Be aware that the approval of reschedules, amendments or refunds are subject to availability
• The activity will be cancelled if there is not a minimum of 2 participants. If this happens, you'll get a refund
