Full Day Kulen Mountain with Picnic and Tonle Sap Sunset Tour

Tour guide Mr. Dara delivered an amazing day trip to Phnom Kulen. He shared profound stories about the birth of the Angkor Empire, Hindu mythology including Vishnu, Ganesha and the lingas at 1000 Lingas site, bringing ancient carvings and history vividly to life. We visited Poeng Ta Kho cliff for breathtaking valley views, the reclining Buddha at Preah Ang Thom, and swam in the refreshing Kulen waterfall. The rural stop at Phnom Bok gave us a glimpse of local daily life with delicious palm cake. The picnic lunch beside the waterfall was relaxing and authentic. Mr. Dara was thoughtful, patient, always offered great photo tips and adjusted our pace comfortably. Highly recommend this tour for history lovers who want to dig deeper into Khmer civilization far beyond Angkor Wat.

I joined the Kulen Mountain tour. Both our guide, Mony, and our driver, Sothea, were extremely polite and courteous, which allowed me to participate with peace of mind from start to finish. Since I was picked up first and also dropped off at my hotel first on the return trip, I didn't have to spend an unnecessarily long time in the car waiting for other participants to be picked up and dropped off. I think this "first pick, first drop" arrangement is wonderful. They also paid close attention to the temperature inside the vehicle, making the ride very comfortable. Because it was the rainy season, the water was quite murky and looked like muddy water when we swam at the waterfall, but even that turned out to be a great experience. The scenery from the waterfall and the cliff was magnificent and particularly memorable. As for the "1000 Lingas," they were quite deeply embedded in the riverbed, making them a little hard to spot. Providing wet wipes to clean our feet after viewing the Reclining Buddha was another thoughtful touch. Instead of a restaurant, we had our meal at a resting area beside the waterfall. It was very delicious, and the portion was generous enough to leave me completely full. Additionally, bottled water was provided in unlimited amounts, and umbrellas were lent out on rainy days. Their attention to detail was truly helpful. As an area for improvement, many of the USB charging ports inside the shuttle bus were not working, so it would be a good idea to have them checked. Also, for Japanese travelers who are not very confident in English, having Japanese information panels or guide sheets briefly explaining the main spots would make the tour even easier to understand and enjoy. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to sightsee efficiently on Kulen Mountain.

This is a must do day trip to anyone who visits Siem Reap. It’s designed perfectly to cover many sites that otherwise would be hard to visit on your own in just one go. We had a small group and it was well paced, with a wonderful mid- day stop at the waterfall, a picnic with delicious food and water and cold towels provided throughout the day. Our English speaking guide Seila was an absolute delight!! Very knowledgeable and fun leading us with patience and care. Our driver was also pleasant and cautious. 100% recommend this experience!!

Fun little adventure! Our guide was Makara, he shared alot of information about the history of Cambodia & Kulen Mountain. Waterfall was very nice, food was good & plenty and overall a great experience. Our guide also bought us unique red bananas that only grow on Kulen mountain. Must try!

It was an amazing adventure! I got to see some incredible, authentic places. Our guide, Mr. Kim, was very knowledgeable and kind; he organized a delicious picnic for us by the waterfall. I highly recommend this tour if you want to create memories that will last a lifetime.

I went for the Kulen Mountain and Waterfall trip with Makara. Booked it from Klook. I had an amazing experience with the quide. The group was small and all tge activities were in accordance with the itinerary. Please carry swimwear and towel as you will definitely want to swim or iust relax near the waterfall. The admission fee of USD 20 was included in the trip cost. We started at around 8:30 in the morning and were back by 4 pm. Overall a nice experience and recommend to everyone.

Mr. Jan (Guide) and Mr. Lucky (Driver) were really good, attentive and informative. Mr. Jan gave us space to interact with each other. He was very respectful when he starts the tour guiding and gives us really good information. The tour is also helping locals and we sampled so a few local street foods. The small touches on the tour was really nice including the cold towels! Wow! Amazing and great hospitality and tour!

Mony was our guide and he was great. he was very informative and well organized. He spoke great english as well. We had enough time at each stop and way more than enough time at the end in the waterfall. Lunch was delicious. The driver, Mr. Theara, was very attentive and helpful and provided us with unlimited cold bottled water.

This nature tour was a nice break from all the city hassle. It is my second tour with Mr. Kim and I have learned so much from him. He is very accomodating and I hope to join his tours again when I come back to Cambodia.
