What To Expect from Phare, The Cambodian Circus
Phare Circus is more than a conventional acrobatic circus. The artists create and perform stories based on their own life experiences. Drawing from recent history, folklore and modern society, the artists blend drama, dance, live music and circus arts to share a part of their lives with audiences.
The performers come from unimaginably difficult social and economic background. They discover and develop their skills at Phare Ponleu Selpak non-profit school. They are able to earn a good living and transform their lives at Phare Circus, breaking the cycle of poverty.
By attending a Phare Circus show, you enjoy Siem Reap's best live entertainment, financially support the school and provide opportunities for Cambodian artists.

Phare Circus was a truly good show with immense talent and energy. I found the storyline incredibly interesting, as it used powerful artistry and symbolism to convey deeper messages. The layered narrative made me feel like I had to actively think to fully understand the story's complexity, which was highly engaging. It’s much more than just a circus—it’s a thought-provoking, impactful, and unforgettable cultural experience. Crucially, I am a person who is not easy to be entertained or make laugh, but the incredible performers successfully did both! Their skill and heart delivered a genuinely impactful and highly recommended cultural experience. KUDOS TO ALL PERFORMERS ♥️♥️♥️
YOU MUST GO! The show was out of my expectations which all actors, actress were so~~~ funny and professional on the show. Every guest were really enjoy their educational performances that delivered the right concept of preserving foods. BTW, you’ll obtain a stainless steel bottle as a gift from the team, and you’ll also have the chance to make a group photo with the all circus performers. Once again, join this, you won’t regret it!
I am absolutely magnificent and impressive. I had a great time, the artists are brilliant and professional and the show is interesting and dynamic. Go there without hesitation, it is really worth it. I had booked group B and it was also very good for seeing well. There is even a free Apsara dance performance before the show given by young apprentice dancers.
Aerobatic show weaved together in a setting within a bar. There are food stores and a shop, and pre-show dance performance by students. Pretty nice setting and things to do for an evening, whether for family or couple.
such a highlight of my trip watching this the actors / stunts shown were incredible my mouth was on the absolute floor most the show the strength to take to do all those acts with no equip in front of a huge audience is insane
Tranditionl circus arts with modern storytelling.I really enjoyed the show.Energetic team, especially the girl artist with great expressions. Highly recommended for unique and unforgettable experience.
this is the best circus show I have ever seen it was amazing there was some very talented people. They made us both laugh and amazed us with some fantastic displays please go and watch this it's a different show every night and they had a standing ovation 👏
The Cambodian Circus Phare offers a great experience that combines circus with music, art and other performances. Phare has different shows every night (?) and we saw the one called White Gold”. It was very good! 👌🏼 The team was much talented and our whole family enjoyed their performance! We were there with two small kids aged 4 and 5. Outside of the circus tent they sell drinks, snacks and food. If I understood correctly, it’s actually locals cooking and everything you purchase helps the society. The food is yummy, price worthy and warmly recommended!! Please note that you need meal vouchers to buy food. So start with walking around to see what you want, then calculate the total price sum, go to the “meal vouchers booth” in the center to buy vouchers (with USD or Malaysian money) and then go order your food at the “restaurant” chosen. Try to be at Phare an hour before the show to eat the food, check out the souvenir shop (it’s really crowded after the show, but almost empty before) and enjoy the free dance performances before the circus. We appreciate so much what Phare does in regards of helping the youth and society! Now we love performances, but even if you don’t like circuses I’d recommend you to go here anyway for the good sake. Every contribution counts! 😊 Keep up the good work all talented Phare-staff - and congratulations to the Guinness World Record for the longest circus performance ever being held. Great work!! 🥳 Regarding the booking: Hassle free as always through Klook! Just show your digital voucher when arriving and you’ll receive physical circus tickets. Enjoy the show!!
i enjoyed the show.. The performers are highly skilled and funny so it was not boring. if you arrive early they sell snacks and dinner. they also give a short performance while waiting for the main event to start.
The only regret I have is not buying the VIP tickets. I would highly recommend it to my family and friends. It's reassuring to know that my spending contributes to job opportunities. I will definitely come again.
