Hokkaido Summer Day Trip: Patchwork Road, Farm Tomita, Shikisai-no-oka, Blue Pond, and Shirahige Falls (Departure from Sapporo)

A convenient option for visiting Nakafurano and Biei, especially if you’re travelling without a car and want to see several places that can be difficult to reach by public transport. We went during peak flower season, so the crowds were quite heavy and there were long queues for food, drinks, and even the toilets. The time at each stop was limited, but considering how many places were covered in one day, the schedule was understandable. You just have to manage your time well, especially at the larger spots. Overall, a good and convenient way to explore the area without having to arrange transportation yourself.

A good way to see Nakafurano and Biei in one day, especially during peak flower season. The tour covered many of the main highlights. The downside is that peak bloom also means peak crowds. There were long queues everywhere, even for soft serve, melon, lunch, and the toilets. Since Shikisai no Oka and Farm Tomita are quite big, the time at each stop felt short, so you really have to manage your time well and keep an eye on the schedule. Overall, it was a convenient and efficient way to visit many places in one day, but expect crowds and be prepared to move quickly between stops.

my family and i had a great time! our guide Aoki was very informative and organised our very large group efficiently. it was a sunny day and the flowers were in full bloom. high recommend the lavender ice cream !!

This was the first time we had Kevin as our tour guide! My mom and I had a wonderful time seeing all of these beautiful areas of Hokkaido especially Furano, Farm Tomita, and Blue Pond! I got to see the colorful summer of Hokkaido and it exceeded my expectations! I felt like the itinerary was planned well with good break periods for the restroom but also adequate amount of time per stop! Kevin did a great job being our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable! He kept us timely and organized throughout the day so we would return home on time but did not feel rushed! It was definitely a great value for the tour and my mom and I had an amazing time! I would highly recommend this tour to all my friends especially since Hokkaido is expansive and it would otherwise be more difficult to travel to all these good sightseeing spots on our own!

I'm a day late writing this review, but I highly recommend it—what a wonderful memory! This trip to Biei and Furano was truly delightful! The biggest highlight of the entire journey was meeting our amazing and incredibly attentive guide, Hikaru. His ability to lead a tour group was truly impressive and meticulous! It's my first time encountering a guide with such strong language skills and attentive service. He provided detailed explanations in both Chinese and English throughout the entire trip, working tirelessly. He didn't let the fact that fewer people in the group needed English translation affect his efforts; instead, he meticulously translated everything from Chinese to English, word for word. I really appreciated Hikaru's sincere sharing of his travel experiences and his detailed explanations of the background of each attraction. Plus, there was absolutely no shopping promotion throughout the trip, which made for a truly pure travel experience! I highly recommend him and hope to have the opportunity to join a tour led by Hikaru again! I recommend him to everyone!

This is a must tour thst one should avail when visiting Sapporo. Although the flowers were not fully bloomed yet but still it didn't diminish the beauty and splendor of the places we went to. Eric Kaneshiro is an excellent guide. The buffet restaurant was full, but he took extra effort to ensure i could get in. Really appreciate him. The tour was amazing, well planned and prepared. Highly recommend everyone to book the tour instead of planning by yourself.

Yesterday, I participated in a summer day tour of Hokkaido, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! I definitely have to give tour guide Lucy and the driver a big five-star rating! Tour guide Lucy was incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtful. Her explanations throughout the trip were lively and engaging, and her time management was perfect, allowing us to enjoy ourselves without any stress. The driver's skills were also super professional; the ride was very smooth and safe, which allowed us to rest comfortably during the journey. The entire itinerary was well-planned and enjoyable, making for a perfect summer memory in Hokkaido! I highly recommend everyone to seek out Lucy if you come to visit! Beautiful day trip from start to finish! The scenery was amazing, and our tour guide Lucy made the experience even better.
