Reviews
Reviews summaryI highly recommend the A1 tour for anyone visiting Gyeongju for the first time! The pick-up location is convenient, and the tour bus is very comfortable. Our guide, John, was incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic. He proactively checked in on our well-being and needs, adjusted the itinerary as necessary, and even helped us order lunch to ensure everyone had a quality travel experience. Plus, his photography skills are excellent! The guided tour was also very professional. It was wonderful to hear such a detailed and in-depth Chinese commentary in a foreign land, giving us a deeper understanding of Korea! The lucky pig at Bulguksa Temple is adorable, Yangdong Village is charmingly rustic, Daereungwon is serene and beautiful, Hwanglidan-gil is great for a 10-won cheese skewer, and the night views of Donggung Palace and Woljeonggyo Bridge are stunning. ❤️
A historical excursion into traditional Korea. The places are interesting to see and authentic. Our guide, Esther, explains things very easily and clearly, which makes this guided tour even more enjoyable. (07/24/2026)
We really had a blast with this tour! Despite being a long-day tour, it is very balanced and the spots included are beautiful and interesting. Our guide Christina was the best! Aside from being very prepared, she is also a very bright and fun person, she made us feel welcomed and always included! Also, she's the best photographer 😎
Thank you to Olivia for such a wonderful and informative tour. You were very knowledgeable about the location and shared great facts. Absolutely loved the last two locations, the Palace and the bridge during the night. Thank you for taking our photos as great locations too. Definitely recommend this your to everyone!
This Gyeongju day trip was a fantastic experience. The itinerary was well-planned, and the pace was comfortable, never feeling rushed. A special thank you to our guide, Sunny, whose Chinese was incredibly fluent, making communication seamless. At each attraction, Sunny provided detailed explanations, sharing Gyeongju's historical background and local stories, which gave us a deeper understanding of this ancient city. She was kind and easygoing, taking great care of every member of the group and patiently answering all our questions. The entire trip was smooth, and the experience was excellent. If you're visiting Busan and want to go to Gyeongju, I highly recommend this day trip. I hope you get to meet Sunny as your guide; it's truly great value for money, highly recommended!
We chose to join the Gyeongju day tour on August 1, 2026, and there were two of us. Initially, we saw that the tour ran from 9:50 AM until 9:10 PM, a 12-hour day. We had rested up beforehand, worried we wouldn't have the energy to complete it. However, by the end of the activity, we were very happy and satisfied! Although we experienced Busan's highest temperature in 122 years, the tour guide's flexible itinerary adapted to everyone's needs, setting a suitable pace. The driver was also very thoughtful, parking the car in the shade and turning on the air conditioning before we got in. The entire trip, from Bulguksa Temple all the way to Woljeonggyo Bridge at the end, featured a very rich arrangement of attractions. The guide also made sure to briefly share local stories or origins at each site, which we really appreciated. They didn't let the hot weather lead to a quick free-for-all. Finally, the guide was also happy to help take photos and resolve any small issues we had. Overall, from the attractions and food to the guide and driver, everything was a five-star experience. So, when you participate, remember to be a five-star guest: don't be late, don't be mischievous, and listen attentively!
July 25, 2027 – This Gyeongju day trip was absolutely fantastic! In one day, we visited Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju Gyochon Village, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Hwanglidan-gil Road, Woljeonggyo Bridge, and Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. The itinerary was incredibly rich and well-planned. Our Chinese-speaking guide, John, was truly professional and fluent in Chinese. He explained the historical background of each attraction in great detail and answered all our questions, making the experience very enriching! A special thanks to our English and Spanish-speaking female guide, whose English and Spanish were both fluent and enthusiastic, ensuring that travelers from different countries in our group were well taken care of. Finally, we'd also like to express our gratitude to Driver Kim. He drove very smoothly, professionally, and diligently throughout the trip, allowing us to travel comfortably all day long. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to delve deep into Gyeongju's culture!
Tour was very nice and was included the places where I want to see so I’m very satisfied. Our tour guide was Christina, she has a lot of knowledge and was very organized. She was so nice and helped taking pictures for all of us. It was super hot day and she managed the time and participants were super corporated so trip went on time. The bus was clean and very comfortable. Lunch time we could order ahead ( in the bus) so we didn’t wait for lunch when we arrived. The price was reasonable and delicious. Overall I really recommend this tour.
The trip lived up to expectations and really was the ultimate Gyeongju trip. We got more than enough time at each stop with plenty of rest between and our tour guide Bobby Kim was amazing throughout. He was educational in a fun and entertaining manner which always adds the cherry on top to the trip. To finish everything off we got an unexpected drone show but I can’t guarantee it’ll be on when you’re there! I was there on Saturday 11th July for reference for the drone show
A very worthwhile day trip including three different World Heritage sites led by tour guide 金錦蘭. She demonstrated professional expertise and great time management, not to mention detailed introduction and guidance. Highly recommend for everyone who are interested in traditional South Korean culture and casual opportunities for amazing photos.
