Our six-stop tour of Gyeongju was an absolute highlight of my solo travels and it is thanks to our exceptional guide, Joe. From the very first location, Joe brought an incredible level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine warmth that made the entire day unforgettable. He brought the city's rich history to life with his deep knowledge, pacing our visits across all six sites perfectly so we never felt rushed. What truly set Joe also has an amazing eye for finding the absolute best angles for pictures, and he proactively volunteered to take photos of me before I could even ask, which I truly appreciate as a solo traveler. Joe’s energetic guidance and kind demeanor transformed a simple sightseeing trip into a deeply memorable experience, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I especially appreciated how he often reminded us that "Time is gold," a statement I couldn't agree with more :)
We went on Apr 2 just in time for the cherry blossoms. Shagal, our tour guide, was very informative and helpful in all of the stops we made. I’m glad I booked the tour because we would have missed on a lot of information if we did a DIY. This is a MUST tour and HIGHLY recommended. The itinerary was well planned out, we saw the beautiful cherry blossoms, as well as UNESCO Heritage sites today. We had ample time for lunch, snacks, and even shopping. The bus is comfortable and we were always on time. Thanks to our driver too! Dalmaji Hill (cherry blossoms street) was replaced with Bomun Lake since it was not yet full bloom but it was the best replacement and I’m happy that we went there instead. It should be part of itinerary ☺️ I would recommend this trip to my family & friends.
We had a wonderful tour experience covering several beautiful tourist sites in Gyeongju. As it was during the Buddha’s Birthday celebration period, the area was especially lively and festive. Despite some minor delays due to heavy traffic, the overall experience was excellent and very enjoyable. Special thanks to our tour guide, Yonas, for being informative and friendly throughout the trip, and to Driver Madam Kim for ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
Excellent Gyeongju Day Tour from Busan! We had a wonderful day tour in Gyeongju and it was one of the highlights of our Korea trip. The itinerary was well-organized, comfortable, and perfectly paced. we visited six sites plus an affordable buffet lunch. The sites were incredibly well-preserved and gave us a deep appreciation of Korea’s rich history. What truly made the day special was our tour guide, Kayla. She is outstanding! Kayla is very knowledgeable, articulate, and easy to understand. Her explanations brought the history and stories to life in an engaging way. She’s also a fantastic photographer and took many beautiful couple photos for us throughout the day. Her positive energy, professionalism, and care made the entire experience even more memorable. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Kayla as your guide. Thank you so much, Kayla! You made our Gyeongju trip truly amazing. Would book again without hesitation! 🇰🇷
Great tour despite the rain! Tour guide Sunny was really nice, friendly and well-organised. The itinerary was well-paced, and there was sufficient time to visit all the locations without feeling too rushed. The only downside was that it rained the whole day 😭 The Ahopsan Forest involves a small hike, so definitely wear comfortable, non-slip shoes. If you’re not up for the hike, you can also skip it and wait at the entrance. Overall, it was a good tour and Sunny made the experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend going on a day with better weather though, it would have been even more beautiful!
The tour showcases some of the most important and beautiful parts of Gyeongju. Joe was a great guide, being accomodating and informative through the whole tour. We even had extra time to see Cheomsongdae Observatory closeby.
We took the tour with Kang, who was an excellent guide. I travel with young children who can sometimes be restless, and the guide was always very patient and kind! I learned a lot about the history of the places we visited. We kept to the schedule and the proposed itinerary.
A combination of adventure and cultural & heritage tours which became educational because of our well-informed tour guide, Mr. Hee. He never failed to share historical facts and trivia about each and every site. He even provided free bottled water after the tiring but enjoyable hike at Ahopsan forest. He also gave tips on where and where not to dine and or/buy souvenirs. Most of our destinations were used as filming locations of k dramas, so if you’re a fan of historical k dramas, you will surely enjoy this trip. Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes because there’s gonna be a lot of walking, bring umbrella and wear sunblock when joining in summer. You may also bring an extra shirt to change into after the hike at Ahopsan forest. Entrance fees for adults is 8,000 KRW at Ahopsan forest and 3,000 KRW at Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond.
The tour was very enjoyable and brought us to many beautiful places. I appreciated learning about Korean history as Yonas shared insightful stories in a fun and engaging way. He is very sweet and took great care of everyone, making the experience even more comfortable. I was especially impressed that he guided us so thoroughly through the historical sites, making the tour more meaningful. Overall, it was a great experience. The only suggestion is that the pace could be slightly slower. My mother had some difficulty keeping up, and we did not always have enough time to take photos. We also caused a slight delay as the forest was quite large and felt very apologetic, but the team was very patient and understanding. It would help if the bus air conditioning could be cooler so we can rest better. As the weather was hot, I drank more water than usual. It would be great if water could be provided or if there were short breaks for water and restroom, as we sometimes used photo time for these.
We had a great day with Erica today. Throughout the day, she accompanied us with historical knowledge and a lot of humor. We always knew how much time we had at each location. Additionally, Erica always took beautiful pictures of us in front of the respective sights.
