The Borghese Gallery tour was excellent, with a knowledgeable and efficient guide (almost like a professor) who gave clear explanations and highlighted the most important works of e.g. Bernini and Caravaggio. The organization made the visit smooth and enjoyable, and we were able to appreciate many masterpieces in a short time. The only downside was the limited time allowed inside. As soon as the visit ended, we were escorted out immediately, which felt a bit rushed. It would have been wonderful to have even a little extra time to explore or revisit some of the artworks at our own pace.
We arrived early at the site but was told that we will go on our own since there is no tour guide coming. The tickets were quite expensive since we want to experience it fully but no guide, no audio, no gardens. just a promise of a partial refund (how much, we will not know) and how soon, no date yet. Maybe tell the client ahead of time if there are changes, not on the time of tour start. The Borghese gallery is not an disappointment, but we were on our own despite the expensive tickets.
