What to expect
From mid-February to early March, enjoy early-blooming Kawazu-zakura in places like Kannami Town, where vivid pink blossoms contrast beautifully with bright yellow canola flowers. From late March to early April, visit historic spots such as Mishima Taisha Shrine to admire the classic Somei Yoshino blooms. (Locations may vary depending on blooming conditions.) Continue to Mishima Skywalk, Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, for sweeping views of Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay, and the Izu landscape. Feel the thrill of crossing the 400m bridge as the scenery unfolds around you.
