It's so nice to see the pic of Girl with a pearl earring that I wanted to so long time ago. Recommended to visit this museum when you plan to go the Hagge. I bought the ticket via KLOOK in the museum as I found the official ticket a bit higher. It just took few mins for the prochase. 👍

The Mauritshuis should be on the itinerary of every art lover who visits Den Haag. It is small as museums of this stature go but it definitely packs a punch with the inclusion of many masterpieces of Dutch masters. The highlights are certainly the several Rembrandts on view as well as several by Vermeer. Girl with a pearl earring is the main draw but don’t pass by his other works, or those of so many other lesser known masters. You’re likely to spend 2-3 hours taking it all in.

The Mauritshuis Museum in the Netherlands contains many famous paintings, the most famous of which is Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring". There are also many works by Rembrandt and other painters. During this visit, I was incredibly fortunate to see "Girl with a Pearl Earring" on display again. It was completely different from seeing it in pictures. The soft light, delicate skin tones, and profound gaze left a lasting impression on me. "View of Delft" and "The Goldfinch," also on display, were equally impressive. Although not large, it was an excellent museum where I could leisurely appreciate masterpieces up close. The reservation and entry process was also very convenient, making for a satisfying experience.

Here I saw the Girl with a Pearl Earring and many famous paintings. Although the whole scale is not very large, the movement line and audio guide are well designed. It takes about an hour to finish the tour, and then go to the next door to look at the lake in a daze.

Seeing the artwork in person was a deeply moving experience. It's worth taking your time to appreciate it. Renting the headphones to listen to the descriptions of the paintings was absolutely fantastic.
