Great 4.0
I visited because I love Escher's work so much, but it was disappointing that they weren't originals. If they had even displayed original prints, the artwork would have felt more alive and impactful. A double scoop of disappointment.

What to know before visiting The Hague

Quick snapshot of The Hague and what draws visitors

The Hague is a compact coastal city where museums, short cable-car style experiences, and guided tours make up the most-booked activities. Demand peaks in May and is much lower in February, so the city’s visitor rhythm swings between a busy spring and a quiet winter. Expect cultural sights and short excursions to shape most itineraries year-round.

When to visit: crowds and prices through the year

Klook booking data shows May as the busiest month and February as the quietest. Prices on Klook stay relatively steady for many months, with a noticeable spike typically in March and the lowest typical prices seen in July; overall the cheapest months tend to sit well below the priciest month by roughly a quarter. If you want smaller crowds and lower typical prices, aim for July or other quieter months; for the spring atmosphere and peak activity, plan for May. Demand and prices mostly move independently here: the busiest month (May) is not the same as the priciest month (March), so you can time your visit for lively events without always paying peak activity prices.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most experiences in The Hague can be booked at short notice—Klook data shows travellers typically book about a day ahead—so a flexible, spontaneous trip works well. If you prefer to lock in key activities for peak-season travel in May, consider booking earlier (up to about ten days ahead) to secure spots. Use Klook to compare typical timings and activity types so you can confidently book what fits your schedule.
