Choose either a Tuesday, Friday or Sunday tour, put your walking shoes on, and head out on your half day activity! Make your way through the tropical forests of Phuket and discover local flora and fauna until you arrive at a breathtaking viewpoint that offers incredible views of Karon. You'll then make your way to the island's very own Big Buddha where you can take time to explore the area on your own and meet monks to receive blessings. At the end of the tour, you'll be taken safely back to your hotel to continue the rest of your day as you please.

Reviews
The trekking is very good although the slope is very steep. I enjoyed the climb. The big Buddha is very fascinating and wat chalong is very interesting where there were firecrackers to signify good luck and to drive away bad luck.
You got to have certain level of fitness to join this trekking tour-it has lots of uphill treks. We had a wonderful time and our guide, Born, was really knowledgeable and friendly. We saw many different plants along the way and he explained how the Thais use them. We had refreshing coconut juice at the rest stop and proceeded to the Big Buddha. After that we were driven to the local market to shop around and visit the temples.
You need endurance for this. The experience was worth it. 1000m trek uphill but the view is amazing at the end. Our guides were super friendly and helpful. Kept the group entertained at all times, took photos and shared (no need to pay extra) and shared knowledge of Thai culture.
First 3.35km is full of up-slopes so participants have to be prepared for it.After that...you get a coconut, seasonal fruits and you will be ferried to Big Buddha and Wat Chalong for sightseeing followed by lunch. The meeting place is a hotel on a pretty steep slope.Best to arrange for pickup as they will do it using a 4x4 truck. You can also get to the hotel on a scooter using Google Maps provided you are comfortable riding up steep slopes.
Awesome way to work up an appetite. The off terrain hike was fantastic but you must bring proper shoes. it is really steep. Not for the faint hearted. Miew was a really knowledgeable guide of the area. She is also really caring, making sure no one gets left behind. water and cold towel provided. fantastic break of the fruits and food provided. When you reach the top, the climb was totally worth it! the visits to the historic temples allow you to learn the culture and history of the area. did I mention the breath taking views? Will look them up again when in this area
good - excellent guide and met lovely fellow hikers from different countries - three places in one trip with excellent photography objets and scenes if you're into photocopy - excellent food and drink supply song the route with good lunch at the end bad - the hike route wasn't in the jungle. Friday's route was through a back road. Tuesdays and Thursdays his are thru the jungle The hike section is steep so wear appropriate shoes. no need to bring food but may be water.
Bond from CC'Hideaway is really good...he is funny, friendly and make the whole trip fun and enjoyable...me and my family really like it. Highly recommend 👍👍👍
Jungle trek was great, our guides were knowledgable and funny. The last item on the itiniary is a sit down meal (which tasted great), something you don’t normally get with other tours.
Great opportunity to get in touch with nature. The incline in the first half of the hike is pretty steep - therefore you’d have to have a certain level of physical fitness to complete this activity! The guide was great and he ensured all of us were feeling fine and well taken care of throughout. There is a pit stop in the midst of the hike - where we got some rest and were served some fruits, snacks (glutinous rice etc). Nothing too fancy, but good enough to keep us satiated for the rest of the hike. Once you’re at the top, you’ll be rewarded a breathtaking view. There is a requirement to be dressed modestly at the Great Buddha - but no worries if you’re not in the right attire as the guide will make arrangements and hand you scarf-like garments to cover up.
A challenging walk thru beautiful hills made easier by great people organising the trip. Little attention to details, a peek into Thai culture, local plants, flowers and fruits keeps the mind away from steep paths... and a look at magnificent Big Buddha makes all the effort worth it... the temple is still under construction, would take another decade maybe considering the grand ambition behind it. Truly worth spending half a day...
