The staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional. The location is excellent for walking about the CBD, dining out, visiting parks and local attractions. Shopping too if that is your thing!

Solo stay

Excellent location. Bathroom & bedroom very clean. Old hotel could do with some refurbishing otherwise very good value for money. Staff were excellent & restaurant food very good. They made a good barista coffee: I will stay there again as cleanliness, helpful staff & location are very important to me.

Love the grand chancellor. Only issue we had was lighting in room. Your room card operates lighting so of a night there is pitch blackness which is dsngerous when trying to navigate your way to toilet and not wanting to turn all lights on. The room needs stand alone soft lamp light in corner of room so you can get up safely at night.
