This is my absolute top favourite place to stay in Taiwan now! 🥹 I am deathly afraid of bugs but thankfully I did not encounter any in the room- which is really spacious and clean! The view is absolutely stunning, you get mountain views that look different at all times of the day. The breakfast is simple but cosy and yummy! The staff here are super welcoming, sweet and kind - they arranged rides to the farm, our meal places simply when we asked for advice on how to get there (note that the homestay is located high up so you will have to walk quite a fair bit to get anywhere else). We also got to join their 8:30PM star gazing session (done by the owner's son), which was very interesting and the starry night was amazing! Lastly- their resident cat Kitty is super lovely and sociable, and would come up to humans when she sees you! A top-tier memorable stay for us indeed.

While the room lacked a heater, making it a bit chilly during our stay, the warm and friendly service from the owners made up for it. They were very accommodating and made us feel at home. Would recommend for the hospitality, but be prepared for the cooler temperatures!

We love this place so much. The Cat, Kitty is so friendly and adorable. We wanted to take her back but cannot. The son of the boss gave a very informational lesson when star gazing. Regretted that we only booked for 1 night. Will come back for the cat.

Because its in the highlands, expect some bugs around. But other than that, it was clean. breakfast simple but tasty. Family run business, every member was super friendly and always with a megawatt smile. Love the views and night time has complimentary star gazing tour

There’s a slope to climb up when alight near to tourist centres. Lucky is nearer to drop off point or else it will be quite difficult to travel here by public transport. View is nice, room is tidy and comfortable. Only thing I hope can be better is to have water dispenser at least at each building for easy access. Breakfast is simple and nice. Owner will help to book transport back to Taichung or tour to view sunrise at Hehuan Mountain. Overall and nice stay at star villa.

The villa is comfortable and the view is very nice (although 1st night we came it was misty). The weather was cold during our stay (around 5-10 deg C) in Feb. It would be good if there was heater in the room, but the bed has heater under the mattress so it was okay. Has free breakfast every morning. Amenities were adequate. The villa operators were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and unforgettable experience in Cingjing with such a great scenery from the villa.
