The hotel location is great to walk around Alishan, and especially to see the sunrise, as the hotel has direct transportation to the sunrise point. Staff was courteous and patient, both breakfast and dinner buffet were included and scrumptious. while a bit pricey but a great experience to have.

Very dated but very historical, even LKY stayed here! Part of the charm l guess. Nice walking trails. Roof top sunsets are a crowd pleaser.

good experience. We are unable to view sun rise due to weather. should go tgere earlier like 4pm to have sunset view at 7th floor. We miss this.

Location is best in Alishan area. Dinner the first night was not fantastic but 2nd night was alot better. But service was excellent by all the staff.

A top notch hotel inside the alishan National park area. A stone’s throw away to many of the trails in the park. I didn’t realize dinner was included in the price so it was a nice surprise. The only Downside is that you sort of have to rely on the hotel shuttle to go to the visitor center area as only certain cars are allowed to go inside the park area. Cars are parked at the visitor center area and hotel shuttle will come and pick up.
