Hong Kong Workshops

The instructor gave us a lot of freedom. After teaching the basic techniques, we started right away. The entire creation process was self-directed, and the instructor offered tips to enhance the results, allowing our work to have its own unique style. The studio provided tools such as wooden scrapers, paints, and brushes, all of which were clean and hygienic. Everyone was focused, making it easy to concentrate while doing pottery here. I'm very satisfied with this experience.

It was nice to see the animals looking so relaxed and happy ☺️ and they were very hospitable too 🤭😂 But personally, I felt that the staff might not be quite enough. Since different animals eat different foods, the signs outside the enclosures were only in Chinese. My friend and I saw an English-speaking child feeding carrots to the goats, but the enclosure only had a sign in Chinese saying not to feed carrots to the goats. So we kindly told the child and their parents in English, and they suddenly realized. The Valais Blacknose sheep are actually huge! Super cute!! 😍😍 The pineapple ice pop included with admission was huge; it took forever to finish 🤣🤣 There aren't a ton of activities, but there are a few good photo spots. Some of the facilities are a bit old, but it's acceptable since the main reason to come is to see the animals 🤭🥰 I was definitely healed!! The farm's location is super convenient! Personally, I felt the admission fee and animal feed prices were a bit on the expensive side, but considering what it takes to run a farm like this in Hong Kong, it's quite reasonable. If I lived nearby, I would definitely buy an annual pass and go visit the little sheep all the time 🥰🤭 All in all, there is room for improvement, but it is definitely worth a visit. It was an amazing experience. We learned how to blend different scents based on our personal preferences while exploring the unique character of each fragrance. The process of discovering, smelling, and creating our own perfume was both fun and memorable. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who loves perfume.

The instructor was very gentle and taught with great care. When appropriate, they helped students adjust their work and explained the process. If you wanted to make a special shape, they wouldn't just refuse outright; instead, they would explain how to make it, along with any potential risks and the final outcome. They also took photos of the students to remember the experience. It was a really great trip!

The Maxim's Dim Sum Class is so much fun, I highly recommend it! This is my second time attending. Today, we made a dim sum that's not commonly found everywhere anymore: vegetarian shark fin dumplings. They were incredibly delicious! The whole process was very enjoyable, and the chef taught every detail with great care. We also learned to make mini egg tarts, which were absolutely amazing – you can't find ones this good anywhere else. And there were coconut tarts too! I highly recommend everyone to join. A special thank you to Master Kwan, a truly dedicated, witty, and humorous master chef who meticulously taught us every detail.

We had such a wonderful time at the silver bracelet workshop! Our instructor was incredibly patient, friendly, and encouraging throughout the whole process. She explained every step clearly and made sure we felt confident creating our own bracelets. She even kindly recommended places to eat nearby after the workshop, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was the perfect couple activity—fun, creative, and we left with beautiful handmade bracelets to remember the day. Highly recommended!

I specially arranged this activity to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and we were both extremely satisfied with all the workshop arrangements! The instructors explained everything in great detail. They not only kept an eye on our progress but also frequently offered tips on the finer points of the craft, which kept us very engaged. Finally, the instructors even helped us refine our creations. The environment here is clean and the atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely participate in other types of workshops if we get the chance!

I highly recommend this handmade workshop! Ken and his apprentice (another tutor) were incredibly heartfelt, attentive, friendly, professional, experienced, and patient. Even though we went way over time tonight, he never rushed us at all and patiently guided us step by step to complete our final pieces. He gave us plenty of freedom and time throughout the whole process, making it such an enjoyable experience. We are absolutely thrilled with how the rings turned out! Definitely a 5-star experience! Totally worth the price and probably my best paid handmade workshop in HK.
