Great experience today on our trip to the Great Wall! Michael was a good guide and the cooler weather combined with clear skies were amazing! definitely do the cableway up and tabogan down if you can handle the walking and climbing.

The guide, Linda, was organized and constantly aware of not losing the group, giving us enough time for the entire group to arrive at each stop before offering her recounting on the significance of each building, relic or historical artifact. She spoke clearly and coherently, adding a touch of humour, always with a smile. The tour was well paced, not too hectic, despite the scale and depth of what was covered. Definitely worth your money!

Really enjoyed the whole tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. Gotten really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City as well. Side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, cap/umbrella if you’re intending to do this tour during summer months as you’d spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

Loved this tour, our guide Susie was informative and clear. I initially only booked the hotpot lunch + night tour of the Great Wall but added on the daytime tour as well (so I ascended twice, once during the day and back down, and the second time when the night entry opens). Really beautiful and day, but can be physically demanding so plan accordingly.

Yuly was an amazing guide. tour was well organised, helped us book additional activities and was very clear on instruction for all guests to understand. The history stores shared were very well articulated and engaging by Yuly. One of the best tours, a must for anyone travelling to Beijing! Thank you Yuly!!

Visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China was an unforgettable experience! The views of the Great Wall stretching across the mountains are absolutely breathtaking. It is amazing to walk along this historic landmark and appreciate the incredible architecture and rich history behind it. The surrounding mountain scenery makes the experience even more spectacular and offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful photos. The cable car ride is a convenient option for reaching the wall, especially if you want to save energy for exploring. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there are plenty of steps and uphill sections

online staffs are very kind and helpful. we had a great experience with the show, elegant and amazing. Foods are nice like fine dinning, good decoration, good taste. All staff at the restaurant are all nice with warm welcome to customers. Sad that we arrived late for dress up (all ppl dress up looked very nice)

Very unique and great experience, the food is tasty. You can do the makeup and style as a royal, dressing up before the start of lunch. Overall, the performance, including the dance, music, drama etc. is impressive. If it's your birthday, you can also request a cake.

Our tour guide Michael was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The Mutianyu Great Wall is well worth the visit! Our family took both the cable car round trip and the chair lift and toboggan to see different stations. What a wonderful experience!

More about Beijing Tours
What to expect from Tours in Beijing
Tours in Beijing typically blend guided walks, cultural commentary and visits to landmark areas, attracting travellers who want context and local insight rather than DIY exploration. These experiences suit curious visitors and small groups who enjoy historical storytelling, photo stops and organised logistics.
How to choose the right tour for your budget
Pricing for tours in Beijing is moderately ranged: the lower end is budget-friendly and covers basic guided experiences, while the upper end offers more comprehensive or specialised options with smaller groups or niche themes. Because the interquartile band is reasonably tight, prices are fairly predictable, but there is still clear choice between simple, economical tours and richer, higher-end options.
When to go for availability and atmosphere
Demand peaks in March and is lowest in July, so March sees the busiest bookings and a livelier atmosphere while July is noticeably quieter with easier availability. If you want to avoid crowds, aim for the quiet months like July when tours are less busy and securing a spot is simpler.
