wonderful lunch buffet by just paying a small amount of additional. the whole day was pretty fruitful especially loving the last cafe so much. the tour guide was neither informative nor looking after the joiners, yet he took nice photos for us!

Totally recommend this day trip. It was a very long day, but absolutely worth the journey to see these amazing historic sights. Tour guide was very professional but a little hard to understand (no issue however). It was a small group travelling by mini van. Plenty of toilet and snack stops. The giraffes at the safari park was a real highlight along with the train ride on the death railway. Meet up point was easy to find, check in easy and tour arrived back about 8pm. Highly recommend this tour but be prepared for a long day.

Our family had an amazing time visiting the Safari Park and Death Railway. It was such a fun and unforgettable experience! The absolute highlight was feeding the giraffes—getting so close to them was a thrill for both the kids and adults.
We also visited the historic River Kwai Bridge and made sure to take a one-station train ride. Traveling along the cliffside on the vintage tracks offered breathtaking views and a real sense of history.
This trip is perfect for families looking for a mix of wildlife adventure and culture. Highly recommended!

I had Alex for the tour guide. He was helpful and kept us all on schedule. I enjoyed the different modes of transportation. We rode the railroad, walked the railway tracks, took a boat across the town and even got to visit the old town with WWII memorabilia. It's a fun tour. Definitely go.

We had a great time with the Kanchanaburi multiple route private tour booked through Klook. The itinerary was exceptional, well planned, and we were fully informed throughout the booking process.
A special thanks to Ton, our tour guide and driver for the day. He was amazing—although he had some difficulty communicating in English, we were truly impressed by his effort to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying the tour. He arrived early at our hotel, drove carefully, and ensured we returned safely.
Bonus points for Ton’s photography skills—he took great photos for us and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, his service was exceptional, and we would definitely request him again for our next tour. Thank you, Klook and Ton, for the wonderful experience.

The tour includes, in order: the War Museum, a boat trip to the River Kwai Bridge, the River Kwai Bridge, a train ride from Tam Krasae Station, and disembarkation at Kanchanaburi. All are worth seeing. Although the River Kwai Bridge is not the original, seeing it in conjunction with the War Museum helped me understand the scenery and harsh working conditions of the time. Also, at Tam Krasae Station, you can see the down train passing over the bridge built on the cliff from the lunch venue, and there was plenty of time to walk across the bridge yourself. I highly recommend it.

Because I want to stay in Kanchanaburi for one night, I booked a two-day charter this time. The charter company will contact me via email three days before departure to communicate the departure time and itinerary. The safari park is farther away and requires an additional fee. The driver was very kind and used simple English and Google Translate to communicate with each other. It takes about 2.5-3 hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. On the way, I told the driver that we needed a toilet, so he stopped at a gas station to let us go to the toilet. He also asked us on the way to the hotel in the evening. Do you want to go to a convenience store to buy something first? It is a long drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and various scenic spots, and the driver still drove smoothly and safely. After arriving at the scenic spot, the driver has no obligation to serve as a tour guide, but he will also tell us what we can see and help us take photos. For example, when we were at the Bridge on the River Kwai, he told us what time the train would pass by and let us go again. Wait a little longer to see the train. Overall, this charter service allowed us to spend a good two days and one night in Kanchanaburi.
