Hehuan Mountain tours

this was a great experience for us. we were informed a day before about the pickup arrangement. bus came on time. the weather was good so we had a great time watching the stars before proceeding to the Hehuanshan for the sunrise viewing. since snow fell during the previous days. snow and ice were still along the side of the road adding to the experience. mountain slopes still had snow. Temperature was freezing, you need to clothe properly. The experience was great because the weather was good. If the weather were rainy or foggy, there will be nothing to see.

this was quite an enjoyable hike, managed to hike to 4 places in the 2 days. covered the Hehuan Main Peak, Dong Feng, Shimen Mountain, and little Qilai. even get to see the sunrise. my guide was Snowmen, who is very knowledgeable about the Mountains. we managed to see many floral in the Mountain including the shuijinglan and seven leaves one flower plant printed on the 1000 Taiwanese bill. the weather was perfect for hiking, the accommodation at the mingshu was fantastic, hot shower , TV, coffee, aircon and fan was provided and a short walk to 7-11. the 2 meals included was also very nice with about 8 courses to share in the group. I enjoy the pace as you cab get to rest any time.

Great tour overall and definitely recommended. Our guide was friendly, attentive, and made a real effort, and the drive felt very safe and smooth. Since it’s a one-day tour, time in Alishan is limited—you’ll see the main highlights (train station, short train ride, and an easy walking route), but no longer hikes. If you only have one day, this is a great and convenient way to experience Alishan.

We came unprepared without raincoats and it was raining almost 80% of the time during those days. Still, the experience and memories from this trip were wonderful. It was tiring, but truly unforgettable. The falls were beautiful, and the old streets felt alive. I had hoped to see Jiufen at night, but even in daylight some lanterns and lights were already on, so we still got to enjoy the charm of the place. Hopefully next time the weather will be clearer so we can explore more of the shops and souvenirs. Special thanks to our tour guide, Ms. Ruby, who made sure we saw the highlights, tried the local food, and even helped us whenever we felt confused especially with the language barrier. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.

This was a self-guided tour, so there was no tour guide, but overall it was a great experience! The itinerary was clear and easy to follow, and each stop was enjoyable. Everything was organized well, making it convenient to explore with plenty of time each place. I would definitely recommend this tour my family and friends.

All the attractions and experiences were great. The driver was very kind and sends information from time to time 😊

it was a good experience! the sight of the sunrise was an awesome one. be prepared to wake up really early though! we went twice, as due to rain / clouds on the first day we weren’t able to see the sunrise or stars well. the guide also stopped by for us to take pictures of a sea of clouds on the way down.
