A full day of activities, and the winery experience lunch plan is also very good. Prices are high in Europe, and that meal included four wines, bread appetizers, lasagna, dessert, and small sweets, and the length of stay was also reasonable. On the day, the bus had some problems, and we encountered a temporarily suspended itinerary, but the impact was not significant. In the end, we still completed all the attractions, and waited a little for the new car to pick us up. But I am still very grateful to the guide and driver for their hardworking and reliable service. Highly recommended for those who want to travel around Tuscany on their own but want a full experience!

Join the Klook’s trip all the time when I visited the new city. This time I joined the Manarola Monterosso and Pisa trip. It was a good experience and comfortable trip. You don’t have to think about the traffic and the station, the guide (Leo) leaded everyone and made sure we can catch the train/bus on time. The bus driver Maximums he is kind and provides the most safe way bringing us back. thanks !

Trip is excellent and convenient. We went to Siena, San Gimignano, Vineyard and Pisa. Thoses towns are so beautiful. Vineyard came with lunch and wine tasting. Totally recommended! Pisa is nice but we didn’t have much time to explore much. Be prepare that they don’t have much toilets. We had to go to cafe and purchased drinks. Public toilets are not available much.

Highlight of the tour was San Gimignano! Time there was quite limited with 1 hour for you to roam. I feel we don’t really need to spend 1 hour at Pisa as there was simply just the leaning tower of Pisa to visit

The price-performance ratio is excellent, linking together several places I wanted to go (but didn't want to make a special trip for), allowing me to visit them all in one day. Siena is probably the biggest attraction, and I had breakfast at an old shop there. The bread was super authentic and the prices were very reasonable. The winery lunch was delicious. An Italian aunt kept handing us various seasonings. There was one that was so good, but I forgot to ask what it was. I felt the pasta was even better than what you get at a dedicated restaurant. The white wine was so delicious and the price was just right, but unfortunately I couldn't buy any because of the rest of the itinerary. I bought a bottle of vinegar in San Gimignano to make salad. Pisa was mainly to check off the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which was adequate.

The itinerary is quite packed, the tour guide is very responsible and enthusiastic, humorous, and gave a great introduction. The places he took us to would be difficult to find on our own. If you have a free day, I recommend visiting.

Tour Guide: Valeska – Absolutely Outstanding! Valeska was the highlight of our tour! She provided enthusiastic and warm service from start to finish. She kindly reminded everyone to use the restroom at every stop and always gave clear, accurate estimates of driving times so we could prepare mentally and physically. She speaks fluent English and Spanish, switching between them seamlessly to make sure every guest in our diverse group understood everything perfectly. She truly took care of everyone’s needs – super attentive and proactive. One tough moment: another passenger was on speakerphone for over 45 minutes, then played loud Instagram videos, making it impossible to rest. I felt desperate and asked Valeska for help – she immediately stepped in politely to explain and ask for consideration. Even though the person didn’t listen, her quick, kind effort meant so much! Valeska is professional, caring, multilingual, and genuinely passionate about making the tour enjoyable for all.

What to know about Leaning Tower

The Leaning Tower of Pisa (Torre Pendente di Pisa) is a must-visit landmark in the historic Campo dei Miracoli, Pisa, Italy. Part of the cathedral complex, it stands alongside the Pisa Cathedral and Baptistery. Famous for its extraordinary tilt, caused by soft ground, this bell tower leans at nearly four degrees, making it an authentic miracle of medieval architecture. The Leaning Tower of Pisa has eight stories, including the belfry, and contains 296 steps in its spiral staircase. It reaches 55.86 meters on the low side and 56.67 meters on the high side. The belfry houses seven bells, the largest weighing 3.5 tons and cast in 1655. Each bell produces a distinct musical note. Despite its tilt, the tower has withstood multiple earthquakes over the centuries, thanks to its flexible foundation that absorbs seismic vibrations. Recently, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 850th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone, highlighting its historical significance in the tower's legacy. With its white marble exterior and iconic arches, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a must-see photo spot and an architectural gem of Italy.

Culture and History

The construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa began in 1173, overseen by Bonanno Pisano, with later contributions from Nicola Pisano and Giovanni di Simone. As the tower rose, its tilt became apparent due to the soft ground. Several interruptions occurred due to military conflicts, and engineers built upper floors with one side taller to counterbalance the lean, creating a curved structure. The first stabilization attempt in 1835 worsened the tilt, which reached 5.5 degrees by 1990 before being reduced to 3.97 degrees. Completed in 1372, the tower remains the prize jewel of Pisa, Italy.

Modern-Day Preservation & Restoration

To prevent collapse, engineers conducted extensive remedial work between 1993 and 2001, reducing the tilt of the Leaning Tower of Pisa by 45 cm. Today, the monument is stable, allowing tourists to safely experience this real wonder of engineering.
