Things to do in Oriental Pearl TV Tower

This was my first visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. I booked 5:00 PM tickets through Klook. Before the activity, the booking agency contacted me via WhatsApp with instructions on how to use them. Also, because we went on a weekday, Klook informed us that we could actually enter at any time, so we arrived at 4:00 PM. Some people choose to visit at night to see the Bund's exterior, but we opted for dusk so we could clearly see the buildings. We purchased the two-sphere ticket, which I found to be reasonably priced. I also booked the buffet, and we even went to the 95M and 98M levels to play VR, which was really great. We spent about 1.75 to 2 hours playing games.

Very convenient. Just head to the main ticketing counter. there are two, and they’ll provide you with a QR-coded ticket that serves as your pass every time you hop on the bus. Only one physical ticket is issued per group (we were two people but received just one ticket), so you’ll need to stay together at all times. This is one of the easiest ways to explore Shanghai. We managed to visit all the major tourist spots in just one day because of this, making it a must try activity. They also provide in ear earphones that connect to an audio tour guide, along with a map for easy navigation. Buses run very frequently, so you won’t have to wait long before hopping on again.

Very happy to have joined this tour, the tour guide Chen chen （陈陈）did a good job showing us the different areas at the Shanghai Film Park and the Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. She also helped us to take photos! Good duration, not too short or long. Just take note of extra payment (acceptable cost) to pay for lunch and boat ride.

This was my first time trying this feature. I conversed over wechat about what I wanted to do, how many travellers we had, and asked them to come up with an intinerary for the duration of my stay. I was provided with a tour guide, and my own private driver. The private driver was amazing as we didn't need to worry about getting to and from the airport and tranporting our luggage for our group. All the tickets were purchased by the tour and were included in the price. I was travelling with small children and grand parents and this tour was very convienant for us to have a plan every day. We went to Yu Garden, Disneyland, Legoland, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, Shanghai Pearl Tower, Nanjing Road, the Bund and more.

Our guide Maggie was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly kind, caring, and patient with us throughout the whole trip. She always adjusted the schedule to our needs, helped us with everything, waited for us whenever we needed extra time, translated for us, and even bargained for us when we were shopping. She answered all of our silly questions with so much patience and was always there whenever we needed help. She truly took care of us like a real mom! 🥹❤️ We felt so comfortable and well taken care of with her. We’re very grateful for everything she did for us!

Night sight was nice but it’s a pity the glasses at pearl towel was quite dirty, can’t take clear picture. Food at coke restaurant was good with wide variety.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is very crowded, much like an old street, but it's quite charming and historic. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit. Transportation from the city center to the outskirts is very convenient, and the meeting point is right at the International Hotel, where you can also pick up some butterfly pastries!

The tour was amazing and straight forward especially Zhujiajiao ancient town. Our guide Yoyo was super helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Shanghai.

He quietly and diligently follows the entire itinerary quickly and well. His personality and appearance are similar to my sister's husband in Korea, which makes him feel familiar and makes me feel like I'm in Korea.
