Fantastic 5.0
The tour guide was brilliant. very knowledgable and helpful. excellent driving skills and lovely interactions. one downside was that lunch didn’t have a vegetarian option. it would have been easy to include a quiche. I only had potatoes, salad and coleslaw with bread roll.

Fantastic 5.0
Awesome experience from the start. service was great. We had Purwa assisting us the whole night and she went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had everything we needed. The food was top notch! Great flavours and awesome selection. Also ordered oysters, which were very fresh. Also, the views were amazing and that sunset, I think Darwin has the best sunsets in Australia! Highly recommend doing a dinner buffet, would definitely do it again if we come back.

1 hrs of crusing along the slated river and saw numerous crocos on en route. The boat guide will stop multiple times to let us see the crocodile up front close as they fed it. Very nice and easy experience to see the crocodile up close, will recommend if in Darwin!

What to know before visiting Darwin

Quick snapshot of Darwin’s travel rhythm

Darwin is a compact destination where wildlife experiences, tours and cruises dominate bookings—zoos & aquariums, guided tours and boat trips show up as the leading categories. Demand rises and falls through the year, with a clear high point in July and a quieter trough in March.

Best times to visit and how prices move

According to Klook booking data, the busiest month is July while March is the quietest. Prices do not exactly mirror demand: bookings peak in July, but Klook data shows prices typically rise to their highest around September and drop to their lowest in October. If you want smaller crowds and generally lower prices, consider traveling in March or October; if you want the peak-season atmosphere and the busiest activity calendar, aim for July. Note that July’s demand spike doesn’t coincide with the single priciest month, so you can find different trade-offs between crowd levels and cost depending on which month you choose.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most visitors from Singapore book activities only a few days ahead, and Klook’s typical lead time is about three days with last-minute bookings possible around one day out—so a short, spontaneous trip works well. For peak-month travel (July) plan a little earlier—around the typical lead time or up to a month in advance if you want greater choice—and use Klook to lock in zoo entries, tours or cruises once your dates are set.
