I took a train departing from Hai Phong Station at 9:10 AM, arriving in Hanoi, and then another train returning to Hai Phong from Hanoi Station at 6:10 PM. It was an experience with the charm of South Korea in the mid-to-late 1980s. The snacks and lunchbox-like food sold on the train, along with the kind railway attendants who even collected trash before we disembarked, made for a truly enjoyable train journey.

It's so convenient that they pick you up right in front of the hotel. When you get to the harbor, you have to get off and board the boat. When entering Cat Ba Island, I just stayed on board...
