Being away from the train station brought a vacation vibe. I was honored to be upgraded to a sea-view room for my two-night stay, and I'm truly grateful 🙏. The spacious lobby immediately felt comfortable, and there's a reading room in the loft, offering a relaxing space. Entering the sea-view room was refreshing, and the wooden floors gave it a homey feel. There's also a game room on the 8th floor where kids can burn off energy. Breakfast was still plentiful, and being able to enjoy it after checking out added to the leisurely experience. The only minor drawback was the lack of bicycle rentals, but that doesn't detract from an otherwise excellent stay!

We went to Hualien during a typhoon, didn't go anywhere, and mostly stayed at the hotel. In the afternoon, there were all sorts of snacks, ice cream, coffee, and drinks. Dinner was incredibly crowded, but the hotel staff refilled the food very quickly, which was impressive. Breakfast was also very abundant. It's definitely worth visiting again.

One of the best hotels we stayed at. The room is very spacious and nice. The buffet breakfast has so many food selection. The 4 hours travel was so worth it.

It's fantastic! Everything was great, except for the 23-minute walk from the train station. The swimming pool is an infinity pool, and there's also a steam room and sauna. The breakfast was delicious, and it's really thoughtful that it's available until 1:30 PM. Bicycles are also available for rent (though you can't shift to a heavier gear, so they're a bit hard to ride). The room was spacious, and the bathtub was large and very comfortable.
Breakfast: Delicious! Highly recommended! And it's available until 1:30 PM.
Service: Thoughtful, and you can still use the facilities after checking out.
Hotel Location: It's a bit of a walk from Xincheng Train Station.
Cleanliness: Superb, very clean!

This stay in the Japanese-Western style ocean view room was fantastic. It was very spacious, featuring a large king-size bed, a Japanese-style living area, two sinks, a separate shower and toilet, and an oversized bathtub. Being on a high floor, it offered a stunning view of Hualien Port. The amenities and space were truly impressive. I paid an extra fee for an additional futon and breakfast for one person, which was well worth it. We were on the 15th floor. The hotel also has a well-equipped swimming pool and gym, and in the basement, there are table tennis, billiards, and children's arcade games. We could take our time enjoying breakfast until noon, which was a very thoughtful touch. Both my family's elders and I were extremely satisfied with this trip. If you're looking to enjoy ocean views, I highly recommend it; you can directly watch the dawn break and the sunrise. If you plan to explore the city, you'll need to arrange transportation. For enjoying the hotel and the sea view, it's highly recommended.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful and thoughtful, offering gym services and incredibly beautiful views. I highly recommend it to all travelers. Cleanliness: Excellent. Breakfast: Super rich. Hotel location: Downtown.

The Hualien Promisedland Resort & Lagoon boasts a beautiful environment with unique canal views. Its spacious grounds are perfect for walks and relaxation. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the resort offers a wide range of facilities, making it ideal for families traveling with children. The staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall pleasant stay. However, the evenings can be a bit dull due to a lack of activities.

From the Hualien Train Station exit, looking "straight ahead to the left," you can see the sign for the Charming City Hotel. It's located behind the "transfer station," and you can reach it in about a 5-minute walk after crossing the street. The location offers convenient transportation. The front desk staff are enthusiastic, friendly, and politely offer guidance on local attractions. The guest rooms feature elegant, classic, and tasteful decor with a luxurious feel. Each room has a small living area and a bedroom, each with its own TV (a unique and uncommon feature). The rooms have wooden floors and leather chaise lounges. The toiletries and bathroom are in separate, independent compartments, providing a wet/dry separation. The bed and pillows are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
