Fantastic 5.0
Despite a small mishap on the first day, Sir Ei-Gie (my driver/guide) went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied throughout the entire trip. I truly enjoyed everything, and I felt well taken care of for the whole duration of my tours. He was incredibly accommodating, engaging, and always made sure I had a great experience. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and I’m very grateful for his excellent service.

Amazing batik workshop! It was the highlight of my trip in Jogja, Belinda and her mum are very sweet and guide you through the process all along. It was interesting and insightful, and lots of fun to learn about the Batik Art, more difficult than it seems haha but Belinda helped me through it. Great authentic experience and super happy to have a Batik souvenir to remember this day by ☺️100% recommend

Fantastic 5.0
Fantastic workshop by Pak Padriman & interpreter Gaudiya! Various gamelan elements are explained in great detail and Pak gently guides you through playing the different pieces of music. The location is also gorgeous (view of the rice fields) and is used for cultural education for children as well. During my session, some local children joined in to play a 15-piece gamelan score together. Some musical knowledge or experience is convenient, but not required. I highly recommend checking out this workshop!

Great experience with Mba Edna to make beef rawon almost completely from scratch including picking some ingredients growing in her yard. After cooking together we sat in the prep space with her to eat and chatted about the local culture.

Fantastic 5.0
Borobudur Temple: Very easy flow steps of visiting the park and the temple. They provide slippers to wear- make sure you try both styles. The guide had a lot of knowledge, 30mins with guide. Then 30mins to explore ourselves - plenty of time. dont buy souvineers here as it is more expensive. There is a cafe and restaurant as you walk back to the start - has gelato, food, drinks, air conditioning- nice break! About 1hr - 1.5 hr drive in between Temples Prambanan Temple: Had a 30min guide-spoke English. Really nice area to check out other than the temples. You can get on a tram to get to the Siwa Temple = 25,000IDR /per person - however only have 10mins to check it out. They still putting the temples all back together. Buy your souvineers from here. The cheapest compared to Borobudur Driver: Erich messaged night before and he was on time. Safe driving and he made sure we were comfortable. He took us to a place for lunch which provided delicious food (additional). Very friendly and kind.

Fantastic 5.0
this is for the adventure seekers. really fun drop down Jomblang cave - you really need to set aside fear and go for it. the cave itself is easy to navigate with the crew. they will hold your hand on the muddy steps and help take photos. worth it! wear something waterproof, maybe need long tights or long pants and long socks. but all your clothes will get dirty so bring a new set of clothes to change. wear slippers there to change to their boots. a tip is to buy a cheap head lamp from Daiso for this trip! the river tubing is also very relaxed after the cave. great helpful guides.

Fantastic 5.0
a little too expensive for a nearby destination from Yogja. Pick up was punctual but my driver still learning to speak English so we have minimal conversation. However, the jeep guide Fanny was amazing! He lent me his jacket when I forgot to take mine and it was quite cold in the morning, he didn’t drive fast so I won’t catch much wind and his command of English is so good that we held a decent conversation on hiking. The sunrise or Merepi didn’t happen cos we had a heavy fog but still we went ahead and I got to see some nice lava rocks along the way. Fanny took some nice photos with his jeep despite Merepi didn’t appear but no one to blame as it’s weather. He was detailed at the museum and didn’t rush through so i understand what happened over those volcano eruptions. Amazing guide I had and thank you Fanny.
