What to Expect at Halloween Horror Nights 2025
1. Four Terrifying Themed Haunted Houses
Just like last year's edition, there will be a grand total of FOUR haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights 2025! This includes the return of Netflix's Stranger Things and Singapore's Most Haunted: Build to Horror haunted houses.
Step into the Upside Down at Netflix's Stranger Things haunted house
Fans of Stranger Things, rejoice… and beware. We first saw a Stranger Things haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 8 back in 2018, but 2025's brand-new iteration is bigger, darker, and a whole lot more terrifying.
This marks Universal Studios Singapore’s fourth collab with Netflix, and it lands just in time for the show’s final season this November.
As someone who’s watched every season of Stranger Things (yes, even the emotional rollercoaster that was Season 4), I was blown away by how detailed the set design was.
This year, the gates to Hawkins creak open wider than ever, pulling guests straight into iconic moments from Seasons 2, 3, and 4 - from the shadowy halls of Hawkins Lab and the chaos of Starcourt Mall, to the twisted depths of Vecna’s mind lair.
Expect bloodthirsty Demodogs, spine-chilling run-ins with the Mind Flayer, and the kind of creeping dread that can only mean one thing: the Upside Down is waiting.
Singapore’s Most Haunted: Build to Horror
Singapore’s Most Haunted makes a spine-chilling return with Build to Horror, a haunted house where unsuspecting residents find themselves living on burial grounds for unclaimed bodies. (Honestly, this sounds damn scary - because what if your current BTO is… okay, never mind.)
A Demonic Sinseh is possessing the innocent through dark rituals, turning the neighbourhood into a living hell. Guests must beware the familiar trappings of the estate as the ritual has opened a doorway between the living and the dead. Step carefully… what looks familiar might not be safe.
The Unruly Immortals
Plunge into a fever dream of demons and hellish realms, where reality blurs with hallucination. Based on The Unruly Immortals by Yuewen Manhua, enter the dark world of High schooler Li Huowang, who only needs to close his eyes to enter another realm. However in reality, he is in a mental hospital, deemed unfit to continue school.
But as the boundaries blur, Li Huowang can no longer tell: What is real, and what is illusion? Can you escape the nightmare and make it out alive?
Death Whisperer
Inspired by the hit Thai horror film of the same name, Death Whisperer is easily one of the most intense haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights 2025.
It transports you to rural Kanchanaburi, Thailand in 1972, where eerie chants fill the air and ancient trees hide dark secrets. The story unfolds as the vengeful Black Spirit seeks a new host — and yes, her next target is you. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this isn’t your typical jumpscare maze.
Personally, I thought this was the scariest house of the four! With two levels to explore, the tension never lets up.
2. Two Sinister Scare Zones
From what we know so far, this year’s HHN features two sinister scare zones, where you'll encounter everything from Japanese demons to wandering in a twisted carnival.
Beware as you explore the park - more frights await as you traverse the darkness in the streets!
The Realm of Yokai
When the 13th hour strikes, the veil between worlds shatters, unleashing spirits, demons, and forgotten creatures from ancient Japanese folklore. Each wave of terror is marked by thirteen thunderous chimes and a ghostly procession in The Realm of Yokai, a scare zone inspired by the legendary Hyakki Yagyō (Night Parade of 100 Demons).
Can you escape the vengeful grasp of these demons?
The FEARground
For some deadly fun and games, step right up to The FEARground scare zone: a once-cheerful carnival now diabolically twisted with unspoken horrors. This scare zone is crawling with deranged carnies like Madame Marionette and the cruelly contorted Bonebreaker, ready to make your skin crawl.
3. Live Shows and Entertainment
Haunted houses aside, there are also other eerily entertaining live shows and entertainment that you shouldn’t miss!
Dare or Die Live!
The terror doesn’t stop at The FEARground - because its ringleader, The Death Devil, is on the hunt for new “contestants” (willing or not) for his sinister game show, Dare or Die Live!
It’s equal parts horror and chaos, and once you’re in, there’s no backing out. Good luck!
(New!) Once Upon a Time... to Die
There’s more live horror in store with the brand-new show, Once Upon a Time…to Die. Meet Mr Rabid, the mutilated master of time, who’s racing against his own gruesome end.
To survive, he hatches a twisted plan to steal powerful life-altering items from innocent fairytale legends. In Mr Rabid’s Wonder-hell, happily ever after comes at a terrifying cost.
Blumhouse: Fear Lives Here
One of the most visually stunning experiences at Halloween Horror Nights 2025 is the Blumhouse: Fear Lives Here projection show.
Watch Shrek’s Castle transform into a house of horrors, with spine-chilling scenes from Blumhouse’s most iconic films.
From M3GAN’s creepy dance moves and killer stare, to the eerie world of The Black Phone, the looping terror of Happy Death Day, and the chaotic purge night visuals from The Purge — this light and sound spectacle is not to be missed.
