Hsinchu Jianshi Plum Blossom Creek River Tracing Experience
- Meihua Creek is a small tributary located in Meihua Village, Jianshi Township, Hsinchu. It boasts rich ecology and stream tracing terrain, offering opportunities for activities such as cliff jumping, swimming across deep pools, enjoying natural spas, and sliding down natural water slides.
- Trace the stream to the 15-meter Meihua Waterfall at the end, with its bottomless emerald green pool, and experience the thrill of jumping from an 8-meter platform.
- After stream tracing, you can wash up at "Sunrise Hot Spring B&B." On the way back, you can also visit the nearby Neiwan Old Street to enjoy delicious food and replenish your energy. Stream tracing, hot springs, and sightseeing – all in one trip!
What to expect
Plum Blossom Creek is located in Meihua Village, Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County, and is a creek valley route full of ecology and changes. Along the way, you can enjoy activities such as cliff jumping, swimming, natural spas, and waterslides. At the end point, there is a spectacular 15-meter Plum Blossom Waterfall and a deep green pool. Challenge yourself with an exhilarating 8-meter cliff jump! After finishing, you can relax at Asahi Hot Spring and then visit Neiwan Old Street to enjoy delicious food, satisfying three experiences at once: river tracing, hot springs, and tourism.

The river tracing equipment is complete and in good condition. The coaches are very humorous and will help everyone take photos along the way. They will also pay attention to everyone's condition to ensure safety. The Aboriginal lunch is simple but delicious. There were a lot of people in our group, so we had to spend some time waiting, and we were relatively able to meet new friends. Overall, it’s well worth the experience!
Coach A-Ling and Coach Jellyfish are professional and enthusiastic. Their photography skills are top-notch 👍🏻. They even thoughtfully created a video for us. Overall, the trip was excellent! 👍🏻
