Throughout the day, we’ll learn about traditional professions and how Balinese locals make a livelihood. We’ll also stop at sacred temples and relax on an untouched beach. Sound good? Join us for the following stops...

Kusamba Salt Mining Village: The traditional process of salt mining is one passed through generations. Your guide will explain the history of Bali salt making as you watch an authentic demonstration at Kusamba village.

Goa Lawah Temple: This large but lesser-known temple is built in traditional Balinese style and famed for the large community of bats that call it home. Watch the locals at prayer as they donate colourful offerings to the Hindu gods.

Tenganan Ancient Village: Next, we’ll stop at one of the best-preserved Balinese villages. Learn how locals cook, wash and conduct daily life during this fascinating insight into the real Bali. With countless handicrafts on sale, this stop is also an opportunity to pick up your souvenirs and support local businesses.

Virgin Beach: Located in East Bali near the tiny village of Karangasem, this hidden gem is often missed by travellers. We’ll have time for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing.

Ujung Water Palace: This former water palace in East Bali is a step back in time for history buffs. Built over 100 years ago to accommodate the Balinese royal family, a series of elaborate temples are dotted between serene pools used for bathing and worship. Snap photos of this unique site surrounded by rolling rice terraces and towering palm trees. We’re finishing the day on a high for sure!
