Cafe food was super yummy and worth for money. Private Onsen took me by surprised, it was literally a mini pool, though just a big tub. Surprised by the sauna in the private onsen also.
great experience! enjoyed my time at joya onsen and the onsen helped with blood circulation and relaxation. the private onsen was really nice and cozy!
excellent and memerable experience. this is the first time here to celebration our wedding anniversary and my birthday. The staff are really sweet and nice. super relaxation and refresh. food are great too. highly recommended. will come again~
good experience with attentive staff helping to take pictures of us in the yukata and checking in on our experience thus far :) disposable underwear provided and available drinking water tap and disposable cups at the private onsen for us to stay hydrated too. buzzer rings when there's 20mins left. the sides of the pool are a bit run down with holes and yellowing though, and the complimentary desert was average - didn't have much taste even with the sweet sauce.
If you're planning to book a flight to Japan just to try out an onsen (or a hot spring in Japanese), look no further. Joya Onsen Café is the place to rest and relax yourself by savouring the full onsen experience in the Western side of Singapore (for it is located at Joo Koon). Before my scheduled time to use the private onsen at 12:20 p.m., I decided to use the public onsen first. The onsen was spacious with shower areas, a sauna, hot tea bath and an ice bath to cool off. I have to say that going in the onsen fully naked was hardly a challenge, and it was also an opportunity to appreciate my body. 💜 The Christmas lunch special in the café fetched a pretty decent price with many other things at the side, which will leave you with a full belly and the most content smile on your face. 😁 Overall, I did not just take a bath on a Wednesday. I was reliving an old memory from twelve years ago...when I was on vacation with my family in Japan. I would recommend this to my family and friends, for making one or two memories in this place never felt so... Rejuvenating Enjoyable Authentic Liberating. Whoever is reading this, I wish you all a great day and stay safe.
It's our first onsen experience in SG. Hubby loves the whole settings in the private onsen, which includes a dressing area with all the neccessary items, with the sauna. The whole 90mins of experience was great. Will definitely be back again.
The experience was good, greeted with a warm welcome and a Tour around the onsen. Love the private onsen room, really recommend for couples to book their private onsen room. A instagramic place to take photos and of course to unwind yourself with your love ones
it was a great experience at joya and highly recommended for anyone looking for a good soak to beat stress and detox. took private room for 2 and weekday came w 10% off and had order their lunch as well. they have after 7pm promo and seem to be really value and will recommend to come here again.
Easy check in, staff was very helpful when preparing the yukata for us along w towels in a basket. Modesty disposable underwear provided. Locker room had basic amenities. Used the public onsen before private session. The cold water was very cold, hot water not very hot. Still shiok to go back and forth. The private room was okay, water super duper hot so it felt suffocating at times. Staff gave a buzzer to signify 10 min before end time. Put on the yukata after and went to cafe. Tried their passion fruit Hokkaido milkshake, very nice! Location is very far, parking quite expensive.
interesting experience! nice little cafe w cute photo spots! besides the onsens, there are also lounge chairs to rest. the public onsen is very big and decently empty for weekdays.
