Reviews
Got to catch a whale bridging eventhough the season was almost ending. Waves were high but enjoyable. The guides were wonderful and gave us options to change dates if we are unable to ride the big waves.
June to November in Australia is the best time for whale watching. It is really worthy of its reputation. The chance of seeing whales is 100%. Today, there are so many whales that I can't see them all. I want to go back to the cabin to rest, but whales keep appearing. I have taken whale watching boats more than 3 times in Taiwan, and each time I only saw dolphins. If you want to see whales, this is a worthwhile trip! What I want to remind you is that you will be asked to report directly to the pier before the trip. There will be no staff on site until the boat appears (because they are all on the boat), so just wait at the meeting point as reminded, don't worry about going to the wrong point.
This 2-hour whale watching tour was really great value for money, with multiple opportunities to see whales. Initially, I expected to only catch a glimpse of them from afar. The crew was very dedicated in searching for the whales' location and also explaining information about the whales to the tourists. The whales were very lively, repeatedly rolling over and jumping on the surface of the water and spouting water, and we constantly heard cheers from the tourists. Seeing them in person is much better than taking pictures, it was very exciting and wonderful! Since we boarded from Circular Quay, we could see the landmarks of Sydney Harbour on both the outbound and return journeys!
Excellent organization, detailed briefing, there was enough space for everyone on the boat, no crowding! We saw whales and dolphins. They are beautiful! On the way back it was very rough, some people felt sick, be prepared for that! But it's worth it! Thank you!
This 2-hour whale watching tour is an absolute must-see! The boat ride takes about two hours, with approximately one hour spent traveling to and from the whale watching location, and the remaining hour dedicated to the spectacular whale watching experience. The whales will swim around the boat once it is anchored, guaranteeing close-up views from every angle. The scene is magnificent, and participating tourists are ecstatic. P.S. Please pay attention to the weather forecast when booking and be aware that there may be strong rocking during the boat trip. If you are prone to seasickness, please prepare accordingly.
The crew was very professional. We were originally scheduled to set sail at 3 PM, but due to cloudy and rainy weather with waves reaching 2 meters high, they suggested an alternative to the tourists (giving us the option to reschedule for free). We changed it to noon the next day. The weather was great, and we saw 3-4 dolphins and a whale tail (from a distance). The boat was medium-sized, but the waves were still quite large once we reached the open sea. It's best not to eat too much beforehand (the crew provided vomit bags to everyone). It was very windy and cold, so dress warmly. The crew announced over the speakers where to look to see whales or other marine life.
This was a last-minute tour that we booked, but we were so incredibly satisfied! My sibling loved it too! The staff members were all so friendly. We even saw three whales, and the weather was especially good, allowing us to see the whales up close! Even our guide was surprised, saying it was their first time seeing them so close! It was truly a wonderful day!
The pier meeting point is easy to find. Don't underestimate the ocean waves; they are seriously big, no joke! The waves are so big the boat will rock from side to side. I was okay without taking motion sickness pills, but older folks might not be able to handle it. If possible, take motion sickness pills half an hour beforehand! The crew will explain how to wear life jackets and hand out vomit bags. Seeing the whales is truly breathtaking!
it was quite fun! Meet up at campbells cove was easy to find, guides were friendly and shared tips throughout. Managed to see quite a bit of whales! Went on a rainy morning so it was super cold.
Truely enjoy the whale watch. you can really feel the staff genuinely trying to help you locate and catch the whales ensuring you see something. we saw a few shy sharks on that day but still a very good experience doing this tour. bonus a seal was spotted.
