Fantastic 5.0
Mr. Han has a wealth of knowledge and is very thoughtful capturing photographic moments. Seoraksan has many different hiking trails and even though we have a large tour group, he allowed us to explore the entire area as long as we were back by a designated time. Since Im an avid hiker, I appreciated the flexibility to allow me to hike to the top. He ensured safety and accountability as a main priority, which I appreciated being in a foreign area and as a solo traveler. Prior to this trip, a group chat was created which made everything seamless. Would 100% recommend.

It was a great experience touring Seoraksan and visiting the temple. Our guide, Mr. Han, explained the history of each place we visited in detail. We had enough time to complete the tour without rushing and to take beautiful photos. I highly recommend taking this tour :)

Mr. Nammin made our Seoraksan & Naksansa Temple tour a wonderful experience! Seoraksan National Park was stunning, especially Biryeong Falls, Shinheungsa Temple, and Gwongeumseong, and Naksansa Temple on the cliff was breathtaking. He kept everyone safe and shared fascinating insights about Korean history, culture, and places to visit. Highly recommended!

Pro Tip: Check if it’s a Korean Holiday prior to booking your tour.
Our tour was scheduled on May 1st which was Korea’s holiday. We left at 8AM in the morning. Unfortunately, due to the horrible traffic, what could have been a 2hr drive turned into 6hr drive. We got to our first destination was around 2PM.
While I do not blame the tour for the traffic, I wish we had more time to enjoy the sceneries, particularly Naksansa Temple. We had efficient time at Seoraksan Temple. We still managed to finish our itineraries and all agreed we’d leave 7PM instead to enjoy as much we can.
Our tour guide was Gina and she was amazing! She made this whole trip comfortable and provided a few game questionnaires during the ride. I went with my boyfriend and my 5 y/o. Stroller is NOT recommended as there are a few areas that are slightly steep, some that require stairs, and some grounds aren’t flat. Overall, the places we visited were definitely worth seeing if you enjoy seeing the nature side.

Fantastic 5.0
I had a great time exploring Seoraksan. We arrived slightly late at 11.30am because of the traffic jam and got back to the bus at 2.30pm. I wish I had a longer time there because there are lots of areas to explore. Our guide, Mr Han, contacted us the day before and he gave us a very detailed explanation about the places that we visited. He also suggested us places that we need to visit in view of the time limitation. After Seoraksan, we went to Naksansa temple, he guided us from the start to the end, showed us interesting parts of the temple. Even though its tiring (there are lots of stairs and steep slopes in both locations), I definitely recommend going for this trip!

What a wonderful experience! its a great day trip away from the city with a lovely opportunity to see the coast as well. Han was a wonderful guide and told us some of the history of the temples as well as being a wonderful photographer! Very easy to locate the bus when you first arrive at the pick up location, they are extremely punctual. I would 100% do again as there is so much to see!

This tour was the highlight of my trip to Korea! The dramatic granite peaks, vibrant foliage and the peaceful bronze Buddha statue made for an unforgettable day. Our guide Steve was very nice and kept everything on schedule. Highly recommend for nature lovers!

As a small group of about 10 during June off-peak season, Ha Kim serves as both our guide and van driver. He also has to translate for English and Chinese mandarin speaking customers. He was friendly and professional, explains the highlights of each attraction clearly. One way drive from Seoul to Seoraksan was 3 hours, with a 20 min break (toilet + quick bites) in between. At Seoraksan, for a relaxed tourist, you can choose to take a cable car up (purchase on your own) and then take a short hike for unique rocks view (climbing rocks can be a little challenging and it was super windy so may be considered a little dangerous), then down using the cable car, have a lunch at base restaurant (food tastes like a mum's cooking) followed by a visit to Shingeungsa temple (a big Buddha statue and nice river view). Alternatively, determined hikers should be able to finish Ulsanbawl hike within the 3.5 hour given. A 25 min drive to Naksansa temple by the sea with a like Guanyin statue.
