Personally, I think this is a must-do tour in Australia. Just do it... Please go do it 🙏🙏🙏. The tour is packed with great things like two wineries, lunch, and cheese tasting, so the time really flew by. The biggest reason it felt even more special was definitely thanks to the guide... It wasn't just that they were explaining things, but I could feel their genuine desire to make sure we enjoyed our time. They took care of every detail, and they let us taste a wider variety of wines. It's informative because even someone on their first winery tour can learn about wine in a fun and relaxed way. I think today will stay with me as a good memory for a long time. Thank you so much, and it's a tour I definitely want to participate in again. Sigh, I loved Hunter Valley so much I wanted to live there.
Our tour guide, Mr. Lee, was very friendly and made sure everyone was well looked after. The tour was well organized—we started with a stop for coffee and breakfast, followed by wine tasting, then lunch. After that, we went for cheese tasting, and finished with one last wine tasting. It was a beautiful day, and we even saw wild kangaroos!
They offered coffee at the cafe in the morning, and both Audrey Wilkinson, a traditional winery, and Bimbadgen, a modern winery, were great. The cheese tasting was also good. I had more fun because the guide was so passionate. I recommend it!
Hunter Valley winery tour with guide Lee Hyun-jin! It was a very satisfying tour, haha. The guide was very kind and the tour schedule was very fulfilling. We went to a winery in the morning, had coffee in the Hunter Valley area, had lunch, went to another winery, and ended with cheese tasting, haha. In addition, there were wines and beers recommended by the guide, so I'm going to try them for sure~ Thanks to the guide who drives so well, I was able to ride in the car comfortably :) I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Sydney!
Our guide was incredibly kind, and I highly recommend this tour because we were able to travel to and from Hunter Valley so comfortably by car, which would have been difficult otherwise. I was especially grateful that when I showed interest in wine, the guide made an additional request to the winery so I could taste a special vintage wine. Even if you're not particularly fond of wine, it's worth visiting just for the expansive vineyard scenery and the beautiful wooden buildings. Thanks to our guide and the winery's explanations, I also gained valuable knowledge about good wines. Thank you!
We visited two delicious wineries, saw beautiful scenery, and ate amazing cheese – it was fantastic! Our guide was also very kind, took lots of photos for us, and provided thorough and enjoyable explanations. The price was reasonable too, so I highly recommend this tour if you're visiting Sydney!
This was my first winery tour, and our guide was incredibly kind and made the explanations so engaging that there was never a dull moment. I really enjoyed this tour because I learned a lot about wine and discovered what types of wine I like. If you come to Sydney, I highly recommend dedicating a day to this experience.
Thank you, Guide Lee Soon-kwon, for your detailed and kind explanations. I am truly impressed by your profound knowledge of wine. I had a wonderful time.
This activity involves visiting wineries scattered throughout the Hunter Valley and experiencing wine tasting. If you find a wine you like, you can purchase it. The round trip is about 500km, so the travel time is long, but listening to guide Jimmy Kim's comforting Australian stories makes the time fly by. We visited a total of three wineries: Audrey Wilkinson, Hanging Tree Wines, and Tulloch Wines. As you enjoy the atmosphere of each winery and the subtly different aromas of the wines... you'll get tipsy. I tasted 20 glasses in total. But it was fun, so I forgive the hangover~
We met in front of the Sydney Aquarium. Even though it was early in the morning, our guide ran over to help us, just in case we got lost! On the way to Sydney, they gave us a concise yet engaging explanation of Sydney's history and background, which was very interesting. I thought visiting only two wineries might be a bit disappointing, but I ended up feeling pleasantly tipsy and made some great purchases!
