Tujia Folk Customs Park

Tujia Folk Customs Park is located in the urban area of Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, and is a brilliant cultural pearl that complements Zhangjiajie's natural landscapes. Built on the foundation of local Tusi castles in Xiangxi, it offers visitors a chance to experience the style of Tujia villages and the wonderful Tujia folk customs. While visiting, there is also an opportunity to watch the ancient Maogusi Dance of the Tujia people. The traditional Maogusi Dance is usually performed before the Baishou Dance during festivals. Before the entire dance begins, sacrifices are made to the Tujia King, and sacrificial songs are sung to pray for blessings and good fortune.
