Diecai Mountain

Diecai Mountain is located in the north-central part of Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, close to the beautiful west bank of the Li River. It is one of the most classic scenic spots in Guilin city. This mountain peak is named for its rock formations with horizontal patterns and alternating colors, resembling folded brocade silk, and has long enjoyed the reputation of "a place where rivers and mountains meet for scenic views," attracting countless literati and poets to climb and admire the scenery.

The scenic area integrates beautiful natural landscapes with profound cultural heritage, mainly composed of Mingyue Peak, Xianhe Peak, Siwang Mountain, and Yu Yue Mountain. The most unique landscape in the mountain is the Wind Cave halfway up the mountain, where not only does the wind blow all year round, providing refreshing coolness, but also more than a hundred precious cliff carvings and Buddhist statues are well preserved both inside and outside the cave. It is not only full of interest but also has extremely high historical, cultural, and artistic research value.
