What to expect
- The "Youthful Years" youth theater, located at Juzizhou Head, a landmark scenic spot in Yuelu District, Changsha City, is a rare domestic red multi-dimensional immersive cultural tourism performance project. Unlike traditional silent viewing, it breaks the limitations of fixed seating. Visitors will transform into "freshmen" of Hunan First Normal School during the hour-long experience, following the actors' footsteps to move and interact within multiple meticulously designed theater spaces, personally experiencing the passion and fervor of new youth a century ago.
- The entire play is set against the backdrop of the youth of great figures such as Mao Zedong and Cai Hesen. Through high-tech interplay of light and shadow and the actors' highly convincing and superb performances, it vividly recreates the growth trajectory of these Hunan youths as they sought, found, and established their aspirations.
