Otaru Tenguyama & Cape Kamui Full-Day Small Group Tour

I highly recommend the Klook Hokkaido day tour I recently took! The itinerary was excellent, taking us through Otaru, Cape Kamui, and finally to the Tenguyama Observatory to enjoy the sunset and night view. The scenery was so beautiful that it was hard to leave; every spot was worth visiting. The gradient blue waters of Cape Kamui were especially stunning, and watching the sunset from Tenguyama, followed by the city lights coming on, was definitely the highlight of the entire trip! The timing, from daytime to evening and then to the night view, was perfectly arranged – never feeling rushed or like time was wasted. The biggest bonus this time was our driver and guide, Mr. Wei (David). His service attitude was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. He was patient throughout the journey and provided insightful information about the attractions, making the whole trip relaxing and worry-free. He also drove very smoothly. This small group tour is truly convenient for first-time visitors to Hokkaido who want to explore several attractions in one go. I was very satisfied with the entire day's itinerary, scenery, time management, and the service of our driver and guide. It was a very pleasant and memorable day trip! I will recommend it to my friends and family in the future.

Our driver and guide, Jun (if I didn’t get it wrong) arrived promptly to pick us up from the meet up point. He conversed in both English and Chinese. Ours was a small group of 4, and the trip went smoothly. He brought us to the different attractions and gave us ample free time to explore them.

Even though we traveled as a group of 3, this tour was honored. We had a beautiful day with our fantastic driver Qian. Cape Kamui is breathtaking and the gorgeous seascape made the walk more than worthwhile. Otaru is charming with so many delectable eats that it will deserve another visit. We had ample time at each location to take photos and enjoy all the breathtaking views without ever feeling rushed. Thank you Qian for the expert driving and the helpful information along the way.

Our tour guide, Xiao Wei, provided excellent service. For those without a car, this is a fantastic option. The scenery at the attractions was beautiful, and Xiao Wei's explanations were detailed. The driving was smooth and comfortable, leaving us very satisfied! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our trip coincided with a typhoon, but the great weather in Hokkaido ensured we had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Xiao Zhu, communicated clearly before the trip, the hotel provided thoughtful shuttle service, the explanations at the attractions were detailed, and the smooth, comfortable driving made for a perfect day! 👍

Solo traveler friendly! I was the only person on the tour that day, and it wasn't canceled. Instead, the arrangements were even more flexible! Tour guide Wei was professional and patient; besides introducing the sights, he also helped take photos. Cape Kamui is definitely worth a visit, though unfortunately, the wind was too strong that day, so I couldn't go all the way to the end. When I wanted to see cherry blossoms, Guide Wei even made a special detour to take me to Tenshoji Temple for a photo op. There was no shopping throughout the trip, and the timing was precise, yet the pace was comfortable, making it extremely friendly for solo travelers. I'll choose this company again next time I visit Hokkaido! Highly recommended!

I recently had surgery and was looking for a tour that would minimize walking. I was so happy to find this one, as it offers hotel pickup and includes both Shakotan and Mount Tengu, which were exactly where I wanted to go. I didn't hesitate to choose this company.

I've taken a lot of day tours via Klook and other platforms and David is the kindest and most accommodating guide I've ever met. He was communicative, punctual, and proactively helped and supported us, especially one member of the group with mobility issues. It was especially important to me that this family member enjoyed herself and I think David played a big part in ensuring that, whether that meant offering physical assistance, helping ease any concerns about accessibility, or jumping to take photos for us when we were struggling to squeeze into a selfie. For families that might not be suited to big bus tours, I would highly, highly recommend joining one of his small group tours if you're in Sapporo!

This was our first time joining a Klook one-day tour, and overall, we were very satisfied. The itinerary was excellent. Our driver, Wei, was very friendly, drove smoothly, and took great care of us, which made our trip even more enjoyable.

Our tour guide, Zhu, had excellent communication skills and managed time very well. If you're planning a day trip to a location not easily accessible by public transportation, this is the right choice. Plus, the small group size allows for convenient hotel pickup and drop-off.
