The rickshaw tour was fantastic! The drivers were strong, fit, and made the ride feel effortless as we explored Otaru. They shared great stories about the city’s history, from its canal origins to its unique architecture. It was an awesome way to learn about the area while enjoying the sights! Highly recommend this experience!
Our ride was at 3.30pm so it was just nice before sunset. The tour guide who have brown eyes was Yoshita (I think). He was super friendly and lots of laughter. Speaks good English and very energetic. Gave us great info the history of Otaru.

Highly recommended! Tour was really fun and our rickshaw tour guide was amazing! He was friendly, professional and speaks good English! We managed to learn a lot about his hometown Otaru. He also helped to take a lot of nice pictures of us!
Enthusiatic boys who were doing their best to communicate in our native language. We were late as we drove from Niseko in heavy snow fall but they were understanding of the circumstances.
I am very satisfied. The car is very interesting and caring. When the sun is too strong, he takes special care not to let the sun hit his eyes. It is also very funny to children. After an hour of experience, the children are reluctant to come down.
Definitely worth it! A great way to explore the old town of Otaru by rickshaw along the Otaru Canal, while listening to the guide. The rickshaw driver was attentive and thoughtful, not only providing friendly explanations but also helping to take beautiful photos. Highly recommended.
