3.5-Hour Tsukiji Market Food and Temple Tour Begin your morning with a culinary and insightful exploration starting at Tsukiji Fish Market, known as “Tokyo’s Kitchen.” Together with a guide, you’ll stroll through and sample delicacies from popular local eateries, savoring authentic Japanese cuisine such as tuna sushi, rich and fresh seafood rice bowls, and fluffy tamagoyaki. Discover the timeless market atmosphere passed down from the Edo period, fully immersing yourself in Japan’s traditional market culture. Then, take a train to Senso-ji Temple, experiencing Japan’s public transportation service firsthand. Along the route, your guide will provide essential tips for riding Japanese trains, helping you easily master basic travel skills in Tokyo—perfect for first-time visitors to Japan. After arriving in the Asakusa area, you will begin a one-stop tour of its iconic landmarks: walk through Kaminarimon, passing under the massive red lantern; shop for unique Japanese souvenirs on Nakamise shopping street; enter Senso-ji Temple for a purification ritual, pray for blessings, draw an Omikuji fortune slip, and take photos at the five-story pagoda; visit the neighboring Asakusa Shrine to experience traditional Japanese blessing culture; ascend the Asakusa Temple observation deck for a magnificent view of the five-story pagoda and Tokyo Skytree; and stroll through Beer Street to experience the lively atmosphere of Japanese izakayas.
