It’s a privately owned museum showcasing the life of Sun Yat Sen during his time in Penang. Entrance ticket is reasonable as it’s only 10 ringgit. And it’s even cheaper on Klook.
The historical records are very complete and the service staff are very friendly
It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in learning about how Dr. Sun Yat Sen spent his time in Penang and his activities there. The guided tour was excellent—the staff were knowledgeable and accommodating, and they can arrange tours at flexible times rather than on a fixed schedule. You can message them via WhatsApp in advance or simply wait a short while for a guided tour in your preferred language.
Small place but very atmospheric and intetesting.
Sun Yat-sen himself came, lived, and accomplished great things here.
Quite valuable house, good to learn with other tourists and Mdm Rose’s guide was very helpful. Dropped by the owner’s book store nearby too. Thank you for sharing a page of his great history.
It is a hidden gem packed with huge historical values. the
You can clearly understand the history and the place where the founding father once lived.
